Oh this is the night, and the heavens are right

Who: France and Yoko.
When: November 9th, early evening.
Where: Around the island, but mostly Yoko's place for picking up/dropping off and the Blue Rose for actual date times.
What: France has just had a fight with Scotland, but he's not going to let that ruin his night. He has a cute date, Yoko, to impress.
Warnings: Cute date times.

Francis found himself walking away too quickly from his house in the Navy district on the cobblestone pathway leading to Yoko's place. Yes, he knew he was angry; Scotland had no right to judge him for wanting to have a bit of fun on the island. As hellish as this place was, with all the shit the Rulers had put him through, France couldn't survive another minute without doing something like this.

Besides, he'd promised. And he was never one to back down on a promise voluntarily.

He pulled the bouquet a little tighter to his chest so it didn't get wet, shifting the umbrella in his hands. The beige blazer and scarf were doing a good enough job keeping him warm despite the weather. And his boots had done what he'd wanted them to do, and kept the rain from soaking his feet.

It was as he reached the lilac district that he slowed down somewhat, to a gentler pace that allowed the drizzle to tap rapidly on Francis' large umbrella, sort of making a song of its own. France seemed to calm down a little after that, particularly about the time he ended up walking to Yoko's door. Now was not the time to be sad, after all, this was supposed to be a fun time for them both. And he had been really looking forward to this.

He knocked sharply on the door a few times, and waited, putting on his best smile as he looked away and watched the rain for a bit.
