slams into him

Just outside the house, Hibari stands, leaning against the wall with eyes narrowed at the sky where his denizen's death is on display for all to see, should they look up. Despite the lack of expression on his face, the downwards curve to his lips shows his displeasure. The minions had first disabled the horses, plucking their wings and laming them, and though they'd fought hard to stay aloft, breathing fire and laying waste to the minions, sheer force of numbers had caused the chariot to crash into the sea. The god himself remains standing in the air, even as the heat from the chariot and his dying steeds cause great gouts of steam to rise from the sea, clouding everything in an indistinct fog.

And it's very clear that he's quite angered by the destruction wrought by the minions, lashing out with his whip to bring platoons of the cackling minions down, tossing balls of fire amongst them to set them aflame, his crown shining bright within the gloom of the fog. But even then, the god is eventually overwhelmed - they tether him to the ground with great chains forged from the magic of the Rulers, impervious to the great heat that he releases in an effort to escape.

Then they swarm over him, darkening the glow of the sun's light, stripping the flesh from his bones with wicked little knives like so many ants, swarming over a carcass. No doubt those knives are made of the same material as the chains, plus a little extra, because Helios roars in rage and pain as he's slowly taken apart, then (ironically) burnt while he's still alive, the minions pouring liquid hellfire on him until he remains naught but ash that blows away in the wind.

It's a sickening sight to witness, for one not well-versed in violence - Hibari, unfortunately, is quite accustomed to seeing messy deaths, so he does nothing more than huff quietly at the spot where the sun god had died, running a hand through his now-golden hair before shoving them both into his pockets, not moving from his position against the wall even as his eyes flick over to Rokudo.

"Enjoying the sights?"
