[EVENT] The Visitations
Who: All Characters
When: November 29-December 19
Where: Your Home
What: The Visits
Warnings: For language and other dark elements.
This is going to go a certain way! Each time there is a visitation by a ghost, we will post a thread. Then, we will respond to that thread, if you indicate you want us to do so, or if you will have other characters in the thread. Remember, the Ghost of Christmas Past will have all your characters in the same moment of time, so if you want to be able to interact with each other, go ahead. Additionally, you will be viewing the moment in time that your denizen was killed from a third person perspective, so you can meet up with anyone during that time, but you cannot talk to your denizen. Once your denizen is dead, you are free to move around the island.
During the viewing with the Ghost of Christmas Present, you will be in the same situation, but only able to view things within your own canon. This means you can’t really speak to anyone but the NPC of the Ghost, which will be played by the mods.
For when The World shows up, we will have a separate thread for her and Kuma will be responding to you with her. You can freely talk to anyone here as well, in the game.
If there are any questions please respond to the thread provided below.

So she just watches silently, not daring to avoid her gaze, when the grip between their two hands breaks and they lose each other in the middle of fleeing. The little girl runs back, trying to find her brother, but by the time she finds him he's nothing more than a corpse on the ground, killed by those minions. And as the little girl drops to her knees next to the bloody corpse, she's stabbed herself as well.
Ange's eyes are slightly heavy in the way she views the kids, even if she tries to seem indifferent. They're nobody she knows, after all, she just knows that girl is her denizen, but.. they're still just kids, right? And somehow she can realise how Gretel must've felt, seeing her brother like that.
Her stomach turns a little, but she still doesn't look away nor let her expression openly show. Shut it all out as usually. ]

It's awful, isn't it...?
[ It doesn't change that her voice is weak when talking. She's only a little girl, this is nothing she should have seen. But she's also worried for Ange. Madoka can't believe one can be truly indifferent about such a sight. ]
no subject
It explains the tears, either way. ]
It is what it is. [ It's all she can say about this, her voice heavy. But she tears her gaze away from the view and over to the girl instead. ]
.. Are you okay..? [ Yes, that's actual concern in her tone. And expression, even. She was a slightly more difficult time hiding her emotions now. ]
no subject
Hmh... I'm fine... I think.
[ It's not too convincing, but Madoka is determined on making it true, sooner or later. She hasn't seen anything she didn't know about after all. It doesn't make the images go away any easier, but Madoka can try. This is the past. There is nothing she could have done. Changing what's been done seems scientifically impossible. Science, Madoka can rely on. ]
It's just different, hearing about it and actually seeing it...
no subject
So she slowly reaches out, putting her hand on the other girl's head to pat it lightly. ]
It's okay if you want to cry, you know. This isn't anything normal.
no subject
Even if I cry now, it's not going to make a difference... They're not coming back, the past won't be undone... I'll be fine.
[ Even though she'd feel much more comfortable if there was anything she could do like taking care of wounded people or even burying the denizens. Anything to not just stand here, helplessly. ]
Thank you, Ange.
no subject
[ For once she doesn't tsun about the thanks or deny she even did anything to begin with. This situation is special, after all.. anything else could still happen after this, so she has to make sure to stay sharp. And make sure that those Rulers won't win, no matter what. That they won't win over her, that is, but of course it also involves helping the people on the island she actually cares about. ]
If there's anything you want to do, then all you can do right now is mentally prepare yourself for whatever is coming next. I doubt the Rulers are done with us with just this much. [ It just didn't seem their style compared to things they had done in the past. ]
no subject
I... I think so, too. They wouldn't show us this for nothing, our reactions have to matter to them in some way.
[ It's so awful to think about, how people could even do that to them. Madoka isn't so much angry for herself and her pain but for the other people at this place. None of them deserved to see this, deserved anything the Rulers had done to them. ]
no subject
.. Yet.
no subject
[ Madoka shivers. No. Not a good memory. ]
Then again chains are at least somewhat predictable... And they have locks to break.
[ Unless a lot of these 'magic' tricks. Madoka'd really like to have a guide on how to defeat magic, no matter how small the chances of succeeding are. ]
no subject
[ Okay, now she might actually be trying to lighten the mood a little. Not that she usually does it, but.. she just can't help it, Madoka's younger than her, right? It's just some sort of instinct to be a little more protective in those cases. ]
no subject
[ She's a master hacker, she has got to be able to deal with some manual locks--- Hopefully. Madoka smiles a little. ]
no subject
[ She actually even means this part despite her half being joking earlier. She's honestly grateful, just the idea that someone would actually bother to think about her.. she doesn't have many people who would do that for her. ]
no subject
Still, he knows that she has such issues with her family, especially with her brother- so when he spots what's happening he doesn't say anything at first. His arms are crossed over his chest, actually thinking before he speaks is so unlike him- but he might as well try for her....]
We didn't even get to the good part with the witch being cooked. [he smirks about that, but it's obvious his words aren't as carefree and enthusiastic as usual. He does know what she's going through, but he's being more light about the situation as usual.]
no subject
So it actually takes a few moments for her to fully summon the power to talk to him properly, without seeming too much like she's off - even if the tiny hints are still there, and she should know by now that he can pick those up. ]
Maybe they're saving that part for me.
no subject
....Other authors- don't they write different versions of stories and everything? Maybe you're living one of the alternate story lines. You know, the one where the wolf from Little Red Riding Hood doesn't let anything happen to Gretel, hyahaha!
[of course he's talking about the two of them, but he covered that up pretty good.]
no subject
That didn't go over as well last time, did it? [ It's only a remark to counter his own - after all, last time they fought the minions, he did protect her, of course-- she remembers that very well.. but she also knows he's not a match for these things in the end. None of them can fight them. But she does mean it a little more seriously too, after all, seeing all of this makes her think about what the Rulers will do with them too. ]
no subject
[He turns to look at her, trying to read her expression. Ah well, she can get mad at him if he wants, not like he cares. His gaze moves so it's looking out at something again, but he moves his hand so it's going to hers, holding her own in his hand, giving her a reassuring squeeze at this entire thing.]
Little do the Rulers know how stubborn Gretel is though.
no subject
... And little do they know that the big bad wolf isn't as bad as his name implies, huh? [ He's helped her all this time, after all. Even if he seems just flippant and selfish on the outside.. she knows there's at least some good part to him. The part that protected her even with his life. ]
no subject
...So then, why wasn't he leaving her? And better yet, why didn't he want to leave either?
This girl was so ridiculous, she literally had no idea the hold she had over him, it was maddening. Still, Amakusa wore the same expression and stared ahead.]
Hey now, that might hurt the feelings of that wolf, he's plenty bad.
no subject
She moves to stand on her tiptoes, leaning closer to him. ]
Sure, sure. You're plenty bad. [ And then she presses her lips to his'. See how it works now, Amakusa? You give her some niceness, you get a reward, it's not rocket science. ]
no subject
Ohohoho? His lady is making the first move here? Out in the open even and kissing him?! This truly is a treat, a real delight! He smirks against her lips, kissing her back all the same though. His hands are on her waist now, and for once he's the first to pull away.]
...Lady... what's this all about? [oh yes he's curious as to why she's acting this way, not like he's complaining though.]
no subject
Don't tell me you're going to complain now.
no subject
[Teasing, all the teasing always. Still, he's not moving at all either, he enjoys the fact that she's so close to him like this.]
no subject
It's just that.. [ .. ugh, she should explain to him, right? So he might understand a little. But at the same time, she doesn't want him to make fun of her, so it's definitely difficult. ] .. I was glad. That's all.
