What: Continued from here! Because she is lonely and wants some comfort, Rarity invites Sora to go for a walk with her. However, the pony changes her mind when Sora visits her house drenched from the rain.
Warning: probably G... this is Sora and MLP

[It takes awhile but Sora finally finds the Lilac District. Mind you, she has no shoes and she's completely soaked from head to toe. Umbrellas? Pshaw.]

Hello! Sorry it took me a bit to find the place!

[Rarity looks absolutely shocked at seeing Sora all soaked wet and without shoes. suddenly their walk did not seem so important]

You poor dear! You get inside right now! [her roommate had been, well, scarce, and Rarity was living alone. so she was all too happy to have company. without waiting for Sora's answer, she got behind her and started ushering her into the house]

[Gypsies don't wear shoes of course.]

I'll be ok, really!

[And now she's being ushered into the house. What about that walk???]

[Seriously, she thought they were going on a walk. Sora didn't care about the rain, it was just water after all.]

Didn't you want to go out?

[Rarity does not stop until Sora is well inside and she's shut the door. she then moves around Sora to go get towels and blankets]

Please, sit down!

But, what about making a mess? It wouldn't be very nice to do something like that.

[Thinking of others here while she tugs at a part of her dress.]

[she would ask Sora to take off the wet clothes, but she wonders if that is improper. if only she had her magic to make something quick!]

Well, you do have a point. At least go to the bathroom and dry off. You'll catch a cold!

[Know that from experience. ~~Such a derp this one is.~~ The girl nods and heads into the bathroom where hopefully there's some towels she can use to dry herself off.]

T-thank you, Rarity-san. Sorry I spoiled our plans.

[she got the towels! and she puts them on the counter]

No, no! It's alright! I didn't realize it was raining that hard. I would not have made you come out in the rain.

It's alright, really! I was out all night one time when it was like this.

[She says this as she pokes her head out the bathroom door. By now, she's grabbed the towels and is either wrapping her body in one of them and drying herself off.]

[to Rarity, seeing another pony without clothes is the norm, so she's not attempting to hide her eyes from Sora, instead just looking at her. She is kind of curious to know what a human body looks like!]

How reckless. You mustn't do that, Sora. Now, would you like some tea? Or hot chocolate?

[She will learn sooner or later that no matter what anyone says, Sora will always be reckless.]

I'll try not to next time. Tea sounds really good right now, thank you for offering.

[it's alright. rarity has a few friends that are just as reckless. she sighs and trots off to the kitchen to make some tea. it's a little hard to do without magic, but Rarity is learning. and this world allows her to dream up whatever kind of tea she wants]

Is Darjeeling alright?

Oh yes, that sounds good!

[She leaves the bathroom, still wrapped in her towel. ~~Because what is clothes?~~]

[and Rarity doesn't care at all because pff clothes. after getting the kettle hot and wishing up a box of Darjeeling, she returns to the main room and gently pushes Sora over to the couch. then she gets a lot of blankets for her]

We can just stay here and talk. Oh, I'd feel just awful if you got sick because of me. [covers Sora in blankets]

[And now she's a pile of blankets with a head sticking out. But still smiling.]

Don't be, I was the one who went without an umbrella. It's my own fault.

[after a beat, Rarity smiles too. Sora's just so positive, even though she ruined her hair and clothes in the rain! she would have to make the human girl a new outfit. yes, Rarity decided!

Rarity hops up onto a chair to sit near her]

How are you adjusting to this place? You've only been here a few days, right?

[It's a minor thing, really.]

I think I've been here for around a day or two. I've been told about the general thing about the island and how there are people refusing to leave the castle and causing trouble for everyone here.

[...yeah, she's spoken to Ange.]

[her smile fades a little]

W-well. The good thing is, at least there seem to be more of us than more of those Rulers. But without any magic or special powers, it might be difficult to do any sort of damage.

I see...but we should still try, right?

Of course, darling! Why, that is all we can do right now. My friends have taught me to never give up, even when all else seems hopeless!

[but it's still hard to be hopeful when one has lost their Cutie Mark and had their magic taken away...]

I'm going to try and help everyone here then. We'll find a way back home.

[she is meeting so many nice people here. they are becoming as special as her friends back home. Rarity's smile lifts again, and then the tea kettle hisses]

Oh, good! Let me get that really quick. [she hops off the chair and trots to the kitchen] You are warm enough, right, Sora? Did you dry your hair?

I did.

[Frizz head welcome!]

Do you need some help?

I'll be fine... I'm trying to get used to this.

[if Pinkie Pie and Apple Jack can bake cakes and work on farms, then Rarity can do this. Earth ponies didn't have help from wings or magic. Rarity concentrates really hard as she pours the kettle into two cups. she spills a little but manages to get the cups filled and onto a tray. that's the hard part... moving the tray with two hot cups and a kettle from the kitchen to the table]

[Hey, seeing a pony do all of that even without magic leaves Sora in awe. Not many animals do that back home unless trained very well. They also didn't talk but that didn't matter.

The young woman shifts out of the blankets but enough to keep herself covered.]

Are you sure? It wouldn't be fair to have you do everything.

[Rarity moves slowly on wobbly legs, balancing the tray on her back. it was very hard. and then finally gravity pulls it off of her and everything collapses onto the floor. in frustration, Rarity plops onto the floor too, covering her head with her front hooves]

Oh, I hate it here!

[Poor Rarity.]

It'll be ok, we'll find a way to get back home.

[Only been here a day and already it's eventful. At least Sora can help with cleaning up the small mess.]

[she keeps her face hidden, just sniffling and boo-hooing]

[Well that wasn't much help. What could Sora do to make her feel a little better?

It's odd for a first day but Rarity looked like she needed it a lot. The human woman finishes cleaning up the mess (just by putting the cups and tray on the table) and waddles over to the pony. She then takes off the blanket from her body, using it to cover both of them and hugs the mare.]

[she shouldn't be crying like this. but she continues to do so........ that is until Sora comes to hug her. it feels strange to have a human hug, but then she instinctively rubs her head against her]

Thank you, darling. You're so sweet.

You're welcome, Rarity-san. I try to be.

[She's so warm...]

[being warm can help Sora get warm! she wipes at her eyes]

Well, if you can keep calm, I suppose I should, too. Even if it is scary.

[Nodding in agreement!]

They're only scary if we let them be.

You're right... Why, I simply must get my act together. It isn't comely to cry this way! It makes your eyes all puffy and swollen. [she gets to her feet and gently tugs on Sora's blankets, wanting her to stand up too]

[Er, that part isn't important but if it helps, then that's good.

...oh, right. Standing up sounds like a good idea right now.]

I-I can make more tea if you want.

[she opens her mouth to say that she should try it again herself. but then she closes her eyes. it was okay to let friends help]

That would be lovely, thank you, Sora.

[And she'll be bouncing out of that blanket because moving around it was a little tough. Thank goodness for towels. Give or take ten minutes (to get the other cups and stuff out of the living area because messes are bad), she brings fresh tea out.]

[the whole time, Rarity had been watching her, wanting her to get back in the blanket and warm herself up. she finally sits down at the couch and rearranges the blankets all nice for when Sora comes back]

I'm certain it's fine. You just relax now. You can stay here with me tonight and we'll dry your clothes.

Will it be alright if I do stay here? I don't want to be a bother to you or anyone else.

Of course, darling! I wouldn't have suggested it otherwise. There is no way you can go out into that cold... [and then, a brilliant idea! she's feeling better again] We could have a slumber party! With makeovers!

Slumber party? I can't remember the last time doing one of those.

[Well, it cheered her up too. Sleepover with a unicorn: how many can say they did that back home?]

Oh, it will be fabulous! We can tell stories and make treats... Not enough to ruin our girlish figures, of course... We'll have ever so much fun!

[That makes Sora look down at herself, rather confused. Girlish figure? What figure? She never noticed it before. But it made the feeling in the room much better.]

[every girl had a lovely figure! and Sora was no exception. eventually, Rarity was going to make her something lovely, like a dress! she was feeling better again, for now. even if Rarity couldn't get them out of there, she could at least do other things to help someone. even if it's giving them a new hairstyle and super soft skin!]
