The world Saber was from was, in comparison to the worlds many others were from, a bizarre one. Her true identity as King Arthur aside, there were countless creatures and goings-on that would have been impossible at the very most and downright weird at the least. Perhaps she didn't understand the personification of countries as they actually were, but Saber accepted their existences in the terms of her reality -- elemental spirits. Just as she herself was a Heroic Spirit, an elemental spirit of humanity itself.
She had been ashamed, at first, knowing she had failed the country she had sacrificed everything for. Saber didn't think she even had the right to any forgiveness... she certainly hadn't forgiven herself. Which was why she was astonished at the invitation.
"I... I am truly unworthy of such an offer. But..."
For the first time in a good while, she smiled. A faint one, but nevertheless a smile. "You do me honour, and so I accept."
