Namely the archers, though a bow and arrow didn't do well in close combat. So he went onto strategy number two:

Street brawling.

And while he wasn't exactly the best build for hand-to-hand combat he could hold his own. And despite getting rather bloodied up he was having a grand old time. There weren't words to describe how much he missed this.
