As G abandoned his own weapons, so too did some of the minions. Though most of them continued to go after him with swords and knives and clubs, there was a certain appeal to Justice and Judgment, to pit fist against fist in a brawl. So they went after him, taking each hit he threw their way and returning them when they could, backed by those who still had a blade or club on hand. When they fell, to be resurrected again by their mistresses, those around them struck out with their weapons.

For Ugetsu, they realized quickly that close combat was not their best option. So they took to artillery, firing arrow upon arrow at him, aiming to at least slow him down so they could overtake him.
