[EVENT] Battle Log One

Who: Everyone
When: September 25, Late Evening
Where: The docks
What: The Minions Attacking
Warnings: Possible death, violence and cursing, so PG-13. Remember, if you die, you will resurrected by The Rulers and shackled. If you are injured, you will be immediately shackled and grouped with the others. We will be posting to this log as [personal profile] minions.

While the minions kept stealing items, it didn’t seem like that stopped the denizens from doing what they wanted to. This did not please the Rulers, no, not one bit! So, as the boat took off, the Emperor took the literal wind away from the sails, making the ocean a still as could be. There is a long moment of complete silence; no trees ruffling in the wind, no leaves rolling down the cobblestone streets of the districts, nothing.

At the beach, the minions begin to appear, giggling oddly and looking at the boat with malicious grins. Some of them are carrying weapons, some of them with glowing hands that signify magic. Behind them are Justice and Judgment, looking grim as they signal the attack. The minions begin their attack, either with weapons or magic, aiming directly for the boat and the passengers.

Good luck, denizens.

It was too fast for her to react, really. She had only just kicked down the one in front of her, watching it go down and putting her foot back on the ground, as the other one started tackling her from behind. Since there was no way to see him coming and she was only just standing, it was fairly easy to get her actually down on the ground in a split second.

Ange could barely realise what was going on or make a sound before she already felt something on her troat, pressing down on it, but just that very motion was enough to tell her at least a little of what was happening. She was being choked at this rate. No, no, she couldn't let this happen, not now-- Even though it was difficult to see while lying there on the ground with the minion on top of her, she wildly tried to lash out at it and hit it to get it off her, to get that pressure off her throat before everything would become completely black. She had to at least try to fight it, but she didn't have much of a chance in this position. All she could do this time was truly try to rely on Amakusa to help her out of this..

He was taking care of some at least but- dammit. He knew that it was pointless at this rate. The way they were coming at them, the way this was playing out... they were surrounded. He should have protested against this boat making more, he didn't trust it from the beginning, but he went along with it since it was less of a hassle to do just that.

Amakusa turned and he saw Ange being held down, the minion pushing down on her throat and she was trying to struggle against that grip. He went towards her, bringing that knife out and slashed at the one that was on top of her. In an instant he had grabbed her and hoisted her back up, pushing her behind him as he faced the rest of the minions.

"Hey hey- what do you say we call it quits? You know, surrender and we'll go quietly?" he hated this, but it was the best option. He even put on his best smile.

The minions started to bare down on the two, giggling and some of them starting to get weapons out.

"Amakusa..!" She almost hissed his name once she heard him doing that offer, was he really just going to try and surrender like that so the rulers could do who knows what with them? No, that definitely wasn't something Ange wanted in all her stubbornness, but she could hardly talk with the way her throat still hurt, and she tried to rub it softly to make the feeling less bad. She could barely see what was going on from behind the man, but the sounds were enough to tell her - especially as she tried to peek over his shoulder a little.

"Don't think.. they agree.." It was difficult to even get out words, but she managed this much, even if it was in a strained kind of voice.

Amakusa even raised his arms up in the air, dropping the knife he had in his hand. He made sure to take a step back though, pushing Ange to the side of the boat, practically trapping her behind him and the boat, just so they'd have to go for him first before getting to her.

"C'mon fellas, you're < cool > enough, right? Just take us away or whatever. Hyahaha!" he knew that Ange was ticked at him for surrendering, but it was really the only option with the least amount of pain.
