One Hundred Years Later...

Who: Prussia and England (closed)
What: Prussia wakes up back on the island... it is now June 25, 1914
When: Saturday, November 5th, morning
Where: Bedroom in Navy Unit 5

He had fallen asleep two days ago on the third, so similar to others. The sudden sleeping sickness that sent them back home for a few days in the island's time but could be days, weeks, months, or years for them. In Prussia's case, he woke up one hundred fifty-six years later. So much had happened, the war he had fought took seven years to complete. Napoleon and America's Independence. His little brother, his West.

He had been powerless to change the course of history, he hadn't even remembered the island at all. And now he was back. Sitting up in bed, confused.

"Britannia?" he called out for. When he left they were lovers, would they continue with all that had happened? Would the ghost of Bismark come between them? Would West? They had a lot to talk about.

It takes him a moment to respond. He has to put the thoughts into order. "Everything, nothing," he says. Hurt each other, he doesn't say.

Everything and nothing. That didn't help, either. "Because," he finally said as he scratched his cheek. "That's our job, yeah? We do what we're told."

"And what are we supposed to do here?" he sounds a little bit irritable. He loved many of his bosses, some more than others, but he also hated being told what to do. Sure it would be easy to say but we were told to act that way, but was it true?

England sat up straight again, resting his hands on his knees. "Well, what were we doing here before?" They'd done what they felt like, right? Made new friends, did what they wanted.

But had they been close only because of their alliance? Right now, they seemed distant toward each other. That both bothered and was understandable to England. If they were to be their own people here on the island, how would they act? Right now, England was older and far more advanced than Prussia. He still had feelings for him, but in Prussia's time, they were enemies.

He thought about it. He did enjoy his friendships here and he remembered how much he wanted to change the future. Maybe it was just the hopelessness. "Does it really matter?"

The island was silent for a moment. Several times, he opened his mouth to say something, but nothing would come out. At last.

"Only if you think it does."

He wants to believe that if he's awesome that he could change the future, but he's already seen that it's not its not possible. Were they really doomed to their fates? Was it just another trick the island was playing on them?

As soon as the realization hits his entire demeanor shifts. He's suddenly regained his energy and life.

"OI! What if it's all just a trick?"

Ah! Suddenly Prussia became so loud and boisterous! England almost fell off the bed.

"W-what?"

"It's only been two days here, right?! So how could a hundred and fifty years get squeezed into two days?!" he smiled at England, just a little bit.
