[closed] better late than never
Who: Gokudera and Hibari
When: Backdated to December 23rd
Where: Navy District, Unit 4
What: Early Christmas gift.
Warning: Someone will either get kissed or punched today. Maybe both.
Christmas.
What a bitch of a holiday. He hadn't celebrated it in years — at least not after the Tenth had supposedly died. That sort of ruined all potential festivity he might have had for the day. Actually, even when he was a kid, he hadn't celebrated Christmas. Maybe he did those few years he was still with his father and Bianchi, but not any longer after that.
It seemed there were always reasons springing up for why Gokudera Hayato should not celebrate... well, anything. Ever. Except maybe Saint Patrick's Day. He wasn't Irish, but, hey, an entire day dedicated to drinking his ass off? Count him in.
Either way, all the decor the Rulers were putting up pricked his nerves in the wrong way. They were too... chipper and bright — especially bright since he'd gotten wind of the random small fires rolling into the neighborhood. But that wasn't exactly in his mind at the moment. No, actually, he was far from thinking of playing fireman to the good shopkeepers of Arcanarum. Instead, no thanks to the holiday, Gokudera was prepared to make his first — okay, second — traditional Christmas move.
Without bothering to knock, he invited himself into Hibari's bedroom straight through the closed entryway. The whole "on-off" switch for his intangibility was an easy snap of the fingers by now and he materialized back into his physical self in record time. And, since he lacked self-preservation, Gokudera took his time examining the sleeping quarter. He hadn't been in here since... that last event. Except the Cloud Guardian was much more frilly and crown princess then. Sauntering over to his housemate, he proceeded to drop a fluff ball of a kitten (with a little red bow tied around its middle) right onto his face, greeting him in a very casual tone of voice, "Early Christmas present, Hibari Kyoya." Daring to lean over just a bit, he smiled at him, nonchalantly dangling a little mistletoe above their heads. "So, how about a kiss?" A clear hint of amusement flickered past his green hues as he watched the small animal begin to shift restlessly on the Titan beneath it.
