[EVENT] And really bad eggs!

Suddenly, you’ve been pulled by your new flying abilities and deposited so kindly on the deck of the ship. Around you are hundreds of zombies and it seems like you’re in for a fight. When you look starboard, you notice weapons lying around that have some short of a strange glow. May as well grab them and fight, right? Team up and beat those ghosties!!

[Waver has to look around at the situation for one very long, very tired second and let out the most miserable, unhappy:

Are you fucking kidding me?

Anyone here good with a sword?!

He can fly. Well, he could anyway but without having to expose his wings? That's a nice touch. Except now he's on a ship and while that'd usually be something to be happy about, ghost-pirate-zombie-things are not something to be happy about.

Zombies. Great. He half-wonders if this is anything like the Athena's Harvest infestation four years ago...

Time to get to it, then. Managing to find a sword, Renne sends a brief prayer of thanks that his armour still holds. Anyone want to swashbuckler piratical zombies with him?

[One of the children doesn't exactly look up to the task of kicking ghost zombie ass, new flying abilities or no. Considering after roughly five minutes aboard the ship, Avenger stumbled towards the side of the seacraft, managed to heave himself up on the edge with his skinny arms, and...

Threw up messily over the side.

Ghost pirates, funny glowing weapons? What ghost pirates?

Too busy being horrifically seasick here.]

[Bazett spares Avenger only a quick glance and then goes back to fighting the pirates.]

Are you alright?

[Bazett makes her way over to Waver.]

...I can try, sir.

[There is a loud crash as Bazett slams onto the deck.]

Ow...

[She only has a few seconds to rub at her sore head before she notices the pirates.]

Tch. It really does derive from the story.

[She quickly grabs at the nearest weapon, but finds that she can't lift it. As the zombies start closing in, she kicks one in the shins and starts running.]

[Yeah, you do that Bazett. He's just going to... hang over the side and try to keep the contents of his stomach down. And moan unhappily.]

Ugh... I feel sick.

Did you eat something wrong? Or is it some side effect of the change?

[In the latter case, she would have to watch out for getting sick too. That would be highly inconvenient because she already has her hands full with pirates.]

[As an answer, he pukes again, this time right onto the deck, body bent over and arms folded over his stomach.

There's a lot less food-y vomit this time at least. It's more watery stomach liquids and shit.]

Mukuro stands ready with the head of his trusty weapon in hand: a sleek trident head made of some black metal, embossed with silver writing at the point where it would normally be attached to the haft. He never goes anywhere without it, which is good because those other weapons on the pirate ship look quite outdated and not really functional - though he does snatch up a few knives when the fight brings him near the pile. He's been slaughtering live humans since he was around eight or nine (the age his physical body is now, incidentally). It's no trouble at all for him to take down undead with equal precision. The only annoyance is that they don't necessarily stay down after being dismembered.

He's cutting quite the swathe through the zombie horde, but don't think you're safe hanging around at his back. He's not the kind of person who fights to protect others - he kills for the fun of it.

[ .. Ugh. What is this.. why do they have to keep doing these ridiculous things? In bodies of children now, even. This is just getting more and more annoying, but it's not like Natsuno is planning on dying here.. so even though he looks like the dorkiest seven year old, he's already running over to the pile of weapons, looking for a weapon that looks the most like a stake. That's what he's used to back home, after all.. Bother the frowning boy searching the weapon pile as quickly as he can? ]

[ As if rejuvenating him was not enough, yet they had to throw eight year old kid with strange, chocolate brown hair on a ship. And that way he was forced to fly here... it was a close call and Sakakibara almost got impaled on sharp ends of different swords, spears, rods etc. But fortunately to him, he landed a few inches from them. When he raised his head... ]

Oh shit.[ No other words are necessary to comment this scenery. Zombies. Undead people. So he has to deal with undead people even here, huh?

He spots Yuuki on the left side, running up to weapons which were separating them. But he may be too slow, he's still away from that pile while the pirates or whatever are approaching... ]

Catch! [ Sakakibara quickly grabs two things which remind a stake and a dagger. He throws this all to Yuuki's hands and immediately grasps another weapon - something similar to a katana. ]

[Waver just gives Bazett this half relieved grin, although the other part of his facial expression is still stuck in incredulous]

I think this is one of those times try doesn't quite help but you know, anything to be decidedly alive.

[She grabs at the nearest sword and hefts it. The weight and length makes her stumble and almost fall backwards.]

I did it.

[Sort of.]

...Seasickness?

[She elbows a zombie, resisting the urge to facepalm immediately after.]

Foolish as this is going to be to try--

[Waver tries to lift the same sword but well, no one is surprised that he fails.]

If any of our opponents have a shortsword or dagger on them, the ideal situation is to knick it and use it against them.

I will do that.

[She makes another try at lifting the sword. This time, she barely balances and, dragging the sword behind her, charges at a ghost pirate. Halfway through her (very low) swing, she trips and drops the sword, causing it to land on a the pirate's foot edge-first.]

Oops.

[She looks up at the pirate, limping from its cleaved foot. No daggers in sight.]

[And with that, Waver's running over towards the crows nest and climbing as fast as possible. He's not all the way up, just enough to be able to scan the deck and try and get a hold on the weaponry. And. There we go.]

Bazett! The third one behind the one you're taking on now--!

Actually, run him over this way I can try and fall on top of him and be ample distraction.

Bah, ah... Is that why—

[And then one of the zombie pirates notices the seemingly incapacitated child doubled over and clinging to the side of the ship and lunges towards him, cutlass raised high.

Luckily it steps into the puddle of puke and stumbles, giving Avenger time to look, groan at the ridiculousness of the situation and jump up to run away.]

[She frowns. This sounds too risky. But she has to trust that Lord El Melloi knows what he's doing.]

Yes, sir!

[She crawls between the pirate's legs, ducks past the other two, and kicks the designated pirate in the shins before running toward the crow's nest. All four of the pirates follow behind him.]

[Staring at the pirates and the puke, Bazett gets an idea. She runs toward the slipping pirate and tackles him, sending him down. With her tiny hand pressing down on his head, she waits for another pirate to lunge over at both of them and hops away just in time for that pirate to slip as well.]

It seems your seasickness is good for something.

[Even as she speaks, she notices Avenger running away. Good. Hopefully he can get to somewhere safe.]

[ Huh? Out of merely sheer instinct he grabs the weapons when they're thrown at him, holding them in his tiny hands. It's only after that is done that he looks up to see who threw them and shouted that. Of course it's more difficult to recognize people now since they're all shrunk down like that, but.. that hair.. right, that guy from Akazawa's world. He just helped him out..?

He only manages to nod back at most before he already notices one of the zombies approach. This is too much like back home, ugh..

It's why he jumps up at the zombie, stabbing the dagger right into him with a precision that he shouldn't have - not as a kid, not as his regular self either. But circumstances changed him back home, and now it comes surprisingly easily. ]

[Tip: you should never do that. He's generally making shit up as he goes.

But you know, sometimes when your plan is to land on top of pirates, you do so, and end up pulling their hair and hanging on for dear life.]

Let me know when you've got it!

[She reaches for the pirate's belt and pulls out the dagger, but the next moment, she is being dangled by another ghost pirate.]

Let go!

[She stabs her attack with the dagger. She is not sure how much damage she caused, but at least he drops her. Her next order of business is to try to tackle the pirate she took the knife from so she can knock him over.]

Doing so!

[Or, well, trying. Waver tries to skillfully drop off the pirate he's hanging onto and ends up throwing him off balance.

Off balance, backwards, and landing right on top of Waver, that is.]
