Suddenly, you’ve been pulled by your new flying abilities and deposited so kindly on the deck of the ship. Around you are hundreds of zombies and it seems like you’re in for a fight. When you look starboard, you notice weapons lying around that have some short of a strange glow. May as well grab them and fight, right? Team up and beat those ghosties!!

[Waver has to look around at the situation for one very long, very tired second and let out the most miserable, unhappy:

[Bazett makes her way over to Waver.]

[Arya's grabbed a short sword much like the one she's used to, and she turns to Waver, nodding.]

Call for me if you need, m'lord! [You aren't likely to break her of the naming habit as a child, Waver-- nor are you likely to stop her from running off too far.]

He can fly. Well, he could anyway but without having to expose his wings? That's a nice touch. Except now he's on a ship and while that'd usually be something to be happy about, ghost-pirate-zombie-things are not something to be happy about.

Zombies. Great. He half-wonders if this is anything like the Athena's Harvest infestation four years ago...

Time to get to it, then. Managing to find a sword, Renne sends a brief prayer of thanks that his armour still holds. Anyone want to swashbuckler piratical zombies with him?

[One of the children doesn't exactly look up to the task of kicking ghost zombie ass, new flying abilities or no. Considering after roughly five minutes aboard the ship, Avenger stumbled towards the side of the seacraft, managed to heave himself up on the edge with his skinny arms, and...

Threw up messily over the side.

[At some point, Enkidu's lost the ax he decided to fight with, and everything else he grabbed failed to be quite as good. With enough lull in the fighting, he had been given an opportunity to run after it.

Shame it landed next to the guy who looked like he was going to fling himself overboard so his vomit had less of a journey into the sea. Enkidu approaches, very carefully, and picks the weapon up.]

--You know that vomit could be used as a weapon if someone carried you and directed the flow.

[There is a loud crash as Bazett slams onto the deck.]

Ow...

[She only has a few seconds to rub at her sore head before she notices the pirates.]

Tch. It really does derive from the story.

[She quickly grabs at the nearest weapon, but finds that she can't lift it. As the zombies start closing in, she kicks one in the shins and starts running.]

[ The zombie that Bazett just kicked in the shins suddenly bursts into flame - it flails at the air before it's unmercifully shoved aside by a tiny Asian boy and kicked overboard with a force that belies his tiny frame, splashing into the deep water below. ]

Fight back, little herbivore, [ he calls to Bazett, tossing over a small dagger to the other that's glowing faintly. It's not like he's invested in saving people's lives, but hey, if the zombies kept coming, it'd be best to have more people keeping them at bay, no? ]

Mukuro Rokudo > open

Mukuro stands ready with the head of his trusty weapon in hand: a sleek trident head made of some black metal, embossed with silver writing at the point where it would normally be attached to the haft. He never goes anywhere without it, which is good because those other weapons on the pirate ship look quite outdated and not really functional - though he does snatch up a few knives when the fight brings him near the pile. He's been slaughtering live humans since he was around eight or nine (the age his physical body is now, incidentally). It's no trouble at all for him to take down undead with equal precision. The only annoyance is that they don't necessarily stay down after being dismembered.

He's cutting quite the swathe through the zombie horde, but don't think you're safe hanging around at his back. He's not the kind of person who fights to protect others - he kills for the fun of it.

[ Yes, never mind him casually darting past you and kicking those zombies overboard, then turning to set a few more on fire. Also pay no attention to that wild grin he's got on his lips - what? It's been way too long since there's been anything good happening on this island. ]

Yuuta is not one for killing—he has never really had to kill anyone before, or even injure them for self defense, save for the couple of occasional school house scuffles every child has. Ghosts, however, are a different story.

He would gladly kill any malicious spirit any day.

If only he had some tools that would really work with what he knows.

A rusty sword will have to do for now.

[ .. Ugh. What is this.. why do they have to keep doing these ridiculous things? In bodies of children now, even. This is just getting more and more annoying, but it's not like Natsuno is planning on dying here.. so even though he looks like the dorkiest seven year old, he's already running over to the pile of weapons, looking for a weapon that looks the most like a stake. That's what he's used to back home, after all.. Bother the frowning boy searching the weapon pile as quickly as he can? ]

[ As if rejuvenating him was not enough, yet they had to throw eight year old kid with strange, chocolate brown hair on a ship. And that way he was forced to fly here... it was a close call and Sakakibara almost got impaled on sharp ends of different swords, spears, rods etc. But fortunately to him, he landed a few inches from them. When he raised his head... ]

Oh shit.[ No other words are necessary to comment this scenery. Zombies. Undead people. So he has to deal with undead people even here, huh?

He spots Yuuki on the left side, running up to weapons which were separating them. But he may be too slow, he's still away from that pile while the pirates or whatever are approaching... ]

Catch! [ Sakakibara quickly grabs two things which remind a stake and a dagger. He throws this all to Yuuki's hands and immediately grasps another weapon - something similar to a katana. ]

He's used to fighting -- Rhy'Din and beyond had been rife with it, on land and sea. Still, he's no true expert in anything beyond his own skills and most of those, he still can't use. He manages to get one or two zombies off of his own back but hearing the sound of rummaging has the blue one listening.

Lovely. Rummaging. Not fighting. All right.

Without a word, the odd one scurries toward the sound to try and at least watch this kid's back. Usually giving a damn is harder for him to do. Eh, he's not analyzing right now. Survival is the thing, no?

...And also if she weren't forgetting the whole 'pendragon' thing isn't actually a real thing anymore. Nonetheless, Saber is ready to fight.]

[And Enkidu's just wandering around with a small hand axe, merrily maiming anyone who dares to get within radius. He smiles at Saber, bright and cheerful, and then that smile becomes something properly vicious]

So, a proposal. You want to see who can down the most of these - whatever they ares?

Well, without any magic that could seriously do damage to these zombies (such as fire), Howl is left struggling to fend off the surprisingly energetic undead with a polearm. If he shoves hard enough, he can knock them off their feet. And if he positions it right, he can knock them overboard. What does it matter how much he contributes to the fight though, since so many others are doing a well enough job on their own?

Granted, a bit of wind does help in speeding his steps up before he can be caught at with those flailing arms. But he's (again) amongst the first to be captured when everything goes awry.

THE WORLD THREAD

[ The World shows up on the dock with a familiar blond man, looking up to the boat. Taking in a breath, she raises her hand and the boat disappears. However, that seems all she can do as she falls to one knee. Everyone falls into the ocean, but it seems you're all the proper age again!!

You ended up with a physical trait from your denizen though...

[Arya's never seen The World in person before, but she has heard of her. Still, nothing's actually happened to her, save the ruby-red slippers that are now glued to her feet.

Still, she swims closer to the dock, towards the woman waiting there.]

[ Natsuno doesn't really know what politeness is. Not even in the face of this girl. So once he manages to drag himself out of the water, completely soaked, he isn't looking too happy. But then again, instead of being downright rude it's more just that he's really blunt. He's hardly noticed his hair having grown darker all the way to black yet though. ]

You know for all the help you're giving, it's getting much harder to keep morale up.

Once he's reached the dock, he drags himself out of the water with a bit of miserable coughing and sputtering about stupid seasickness and stupid boats and stupid seaweed, crouched down on his knees before looking around. Oh, hey. His legs were the correct length again. |D

[Saber sure isn't used to becoming tired so easily, but it's nice to be back in her own body. However, it's hard for her not to notice her hair has turned an absurd shade of pink. After a few moments of quiet distress, she turns her attention to The World instead.]

Are you one of them? One of these 'rulers'? [She spends most of her energy trying to keep herself warm.]
