[EVENT] And really bad eggs!

Suddenly, you’ve been pulled by your new flying abilities and deposited so kindly on the deck of the ship. Around you are hundreds of zombies and it seems like you’re in for a fight. When you look starboard, you notice weapons lying around that have some short of a strange glow. May as well grab them and fight, right? Team up and beat those ghosties!!

That doesn't matter right now, they're not wearing armor or mail so it'll be quick and easy.

[She slashes with wild abandon towards the pirates, trying to get one hit in, even though they're swinging back at her as well. All she can do right now is try to block.]

And don't let them get you back!

[gordianknots]

You are really over estimating my abilities right now!

[Waver is pointedly flailing with a sharp weapon in hand at the moment. Because he makes wise life choices, and sometimes manages to get a small cut on a particularly large looking pirate.]

[nymeriarya]

Well, you're going to need to grow better quickly! Hold the sword with two hands!

[She hasn't mastered the ways of the water dancer yet, still hasn't learned to watch her enemies' movements and respond in-kind. So she's slashing, hacking, and hammering her way to the pirates.

And then one knocks the sword clean out of her hands and grabs her.]

The pointy end, you said?

[And with that Waver at least makes a very honest attempt to directly stab at the pirate's leg. And when that misses by a mile, he goes to slash it, which actually connects.]

[nymeriarya]

Yes, quickly!

[That's all she can get out before a pirate claps his hand over her mouth - but she bites down on his fingers hard. That and the force of Waver's sword manages to throw him off, and Arya wriggles out of his grasp, running off to go grab her sword.]

Hold him off as best as you can, Waver.

[gordianknots]

--No promises on success!

[Although this time, Waver makes a concentrated effort to hit where he's already drawn blood, and really the slashing is much easier than direct stabbing.]

[nymeriarya]

[It takes her a bit of scurrying around and running up a few steps, but Arya manages to find her Needle, running back to where Waver's hopelessly swinging a sword at a pirate. It looks like he's worn him down a great deal with all the slashing, though, and she lashes out with a shout at the pirate, finally cutting him down. Faintly, she thinks Robb would be proud if he'd seen. He always seemed to find her desire to hold her own amusing, at the very least.

Unfortunately, there are still many pirates to go...]

[It's hard not to take a beat and admire Arya's handiwork, although some part of Waver is incredibly bothered by seeing someone her age be forced into such action.

But navel gazing isn't really something that should be done. There's a particularly large sword heading for Arya's head--]
