What: Talking at first, then it seems a fight breaks out.

Forcefully, you are pulled from the denizen world and deposited back into your room. The World speaks to the island as a whole and tells you to come to the castle immediately, that something's wrong and she needs your help. It's possible that it's a trick, but it doesn't seem like it by the tone of her voice...

Once you are there, she meets you with The Fool, who has been with her for awhile now. Even he looks a little nervous.

You're saying that like you caused them personally. In that case I should be punching you rather than listening to apologies. [ It's just her being deadpan though. Instead she just sighs, her hands moving to dust off her skirt a little bit. ]

So where is this going? Are we all just going to be fairytale puppets soon?

No, I don't foresee you all having any changes to your personalities. At least I hope not. They never could control the minds of the denizens.

[ .. Wait. That information is new to her, and it widens her eyes a little for once instead of her having her usual permanent pokerface. ]

Not from my stand point, no. The reason why they were destroyed was because they fought.

Well, I guess that's a relief. [ And despite her deadpan, she means it. Her worst nightmare in this place was being turned into something she's not - so including her mind and free will. She'd rather just plainly die. ]

And that means they were a lot like us.

They were in some ways, but in other ways, they weren't.
