What: Talking at first, then it seems a fight breaks out.
Warnings: Death, violence and other such things



Forcefully, you are pulled from the denizen world and deposited back into your room. The World speaks to the island as a whole and tells you to come to the castle immediately, that something's wrong and she needs your help. It's possible that it's a trick, but it doesn't seem like it by the tone of her voice...

Once you are there, she meets you with The Fool, who has been with her for awhile now. Even he looks a little nervous.

[Waver takes a beat to look at the amount of minions, roughly calculates the number of actual people around, and snorts. This is a set up for failure if he's ever seen one, and at this point, he is done.

He turns and starts walking away.]

[entreats]

[ Don't mind that bullet being shot right in front of your feet, Waver.. ]

What do you think you're doing? [ It's honestly more curious than anything else, not like she's really going to stop him if he wants to go, but this was the easiest way to try and pull his attention.. And yes, she's casually holding a gun. She's not even going to try traditional weapons, okay. ]

[FOR FUCK'S SAKE ANGE. He jumps at it, and damnit, now his ears are ringing from the noise. So if Waver's voice is louder, he's making sure he can hear himself.]

I know a fight that'll fail when I see it, and I'm not watching a mass slaughter.

[entreats]

[ SORRY SHE DOES WHAT SHE WANTS AND IS RATHER.. SPECIAL.. AT TIMES. ]

You can leave if you want, but I'm sure not leaving. Not like that's going to help either, so then I might as well go down in.. [ .. she rolls her eyes a little. ] Well, as Amakusa would call it, a < cool > way.

[He sighs.]

I wouldn't call it cool, I'd call it extremely fucking stupid. With no prep time, no time to assess everyone's combat skills, this is going to just--

[He gestures in the place of words. It isn't that Waver knows nothing of how to fight - taking apart the Grail had resulted in a nasty war that he was practically in charge of - but knowing when to walk away is what he thinks is a greater strength.

Which is not to say he's hilariously wrong, but, you know.]

You know I'm not optimistic enough to say we can actually beat all of them or whatever. There's too many of them.

[ She admits it. But honestly, Ange's always been a deathseeker. Not that this is part of that, this is more.. ] .. but I don't want to just run away and sit back again. I at least want to do something. [ A shrug. ] Good luck though, hope it does you good.

[Waver nods, offering an open ended shrug.]

I hope I'm proven wrong. And uhm, you know, you've completely screwed up my hearing. Don't shoot that thing at people you're trying to talk to.

[entreats]

.. Ah, sorry. [ That's.. prooobably a genuine apology. But it's always difficult to tell with Ange's expression. ] They do that sort of thing in movies all the time, so I wanted to make sure to try it at least once if it's a permanent end. Sorry that you had to be the last thing on my bucket list.

For what? [ She sounds sincerely curious, as if she isn't blaming him for anything right now. ] Wanting to leave?

If anyone here blames you for that, they're probably just too idealistic. [ It's more surprising to her that most people are actually choosing to fight.. ]
