Who: Avenger, Waver, Saber, Bazett
When: 26 Jan
Where: Along the castle
What: Avenger has half of his powers back, everything is awful.
Warnings: Violence, loss of autonomy
[Waver had walked away from the fight at the castle. He had only dared to go near it when his circuits cleared some - the first time in months
Once there, he had found his suit folded neatly in a chest, alongside his beloved red coat, and yellow scarf. Putting them back on felt more powerful than having his magecraft back. He was himself again, for the first time in months. Not entirely, there were little naggling things in his head, but he'd take what he could get.
He fiddles with his scarf as he leaves the building again, taking no time to explore. His patience is still too thin, overriding curiosity. He can head back to his house and see what his limits are.]

YOU IGNORED MY ORDERS! YOU ATTACKED MY SUPERIOR! YOU DIPPED SOMEONE IN YOUR GRAIL MUD!
[Now that she thinks of it, it is quite the miracle that Waver is still alive and breathing.]

Nothing about this seems good. Nothing at all.]
--What is he talking about?! What fire?!

[She looks toward Waver.]
My Lord, I am glad you are unhurt. Forgive me. I was unable to keep a good enough eye on Avenger. I will punish him as he deserves.

While Bazett apologizes to Waver, all his thoughts on the magus are: shut up god.
He blinks and looks over at Saber.
Then he laughs dryly, like he's making fun of her as he adds onto Bazett's words; ]
Hmm?
The fire, right after the Fourth Grail War. Pretty awful, burned for an entire day. That fire.

[What are they saying?!]
And what-- what will be done about Waver!?

[Even thought there might be something strange she cannot put her finger on.]
I suppose we should just let him rest?

[ And then he linefaces in Bazett's direction. While he didn't exactly care about the magus; ]
Boss, I refuse to believe you're this dense. If you actually are, I'm resigning on the spot.

No. No. Saber really doesn't have time to stress about this-- there is something more important at the moment. Something more immediate, at least.]
You will explain once we've dealt with this. For now, I need to know what we have to do to fix this.
[She speaks sternly, looking between Bazett and Avenger.]

[ At Bazett's question while she looks from him to Waver, and Saber's following demand for information while looking from him to Bazett, Avenger crosses his arms over his bare chest, raising an eyebrow. ]
Fix it?
It's soaked through to his soul. I don't have a clue how you could cleanse that.

...In such a case, a corrupted individual should be...destroyed before they cause further damage.
[Her fists clench. It is her duty to eliminate the creature as an Enforcer.]
[...Yet Waver is her superior. And he has treated her much better than any of her other superiors had.]

[Saber casts a heavy glare Avenger's way again. She is convinced by now that Avenger has no remorse about it. and it's beyond irritating.]
I'd say it ought to be your duty to clean up your own mess, but I'm not sure you can.
no subject
Well, if you want me to run him through, I can do that too.
[ He glances at Bazett's clenched fists for a moment. His face or tone of voice doesn't do anything like soften, doesn't give away a thing, but; ]
... Really, lady. You don't need to do it yourself. It ain't your problem. This world's already on the verge of being torn apart, this guy can't ruin it much further even if you let him off.

[Bazett's refusal is very, very stern.]
He would only enjoy it. And I am his Master. I must take some responsibilities for his actions.
[Even if this world is falling apart, she would rather try and fight to save it so she can find a way to go home instead of standing by and watching it collapse. She only hopes that whatever magics power the island can still restore Waver to life if she does go through with killing him.]
no subject
[This is frustrating, but Saber knows she must keep a level head.]
If neither of you will raise a hand, I will.

[Bazett takes one step forward. She had been willing to kill even a copy of Cu Chulainn for her mission. So she should be able to kill Waver too.]
[But...Waver clearly has a mind of his own...]
[She stops at that one step. It takes forever until she can take a second step.]

Keeping to the side, and watching without interference over here.
He stays out of Bazett's way, remaining silently behind her when the woman takes a single step forward towards Waver. ]

So...you are saying...that the mud has...
[She hopes that Waver will say something to dispute this guess.]
