His guess was right - Ange was indeed picked as one of the princesses. But that meant she hadn't woken up like Amakusa and some of the other people on the island had. After all, the part of the princess was nothing but waiting for her prince to come and kiss her, right? She couldn't even have protested against the role if she wanted, since she was still asleep, oblivious about everything that was up on the island and the fact that the normal clothes she had finally gotten again thanks to France had already been replaced by exactly the kind of poofy dress she hated. At least Amakusa wasn't alone in that pain.

Ange was asleep in her own house - the only question left was whether Amakusa would think of coming to look for her there.
