Locked to a certain 'horse'
He decides to randomly look around since the note gave no directions on where the princesses are stuck. As long as he isn't standing still, there was progress, right? China had some proverb about it, but whatever, America keeps moving. His feet carry him to the first unit in the Lilac District. America knew a sleeping princess can't answer the door, but he knocks anyway just out of habit before pushing it (roughly) open. Ascending the steps, he pokes his head into the first room. "Hellooo? So! Uh, any snoozing princesses around here?"
a UNICORN
There were no snores, no thrashing movements. Just a peaceful silence throughout the house. The pony was curled up on her elegant purple covers. Her bed was huge and decorated, with a canopy and lilac satin sashes, the kind of bed a princess would sleep in. In fact, her whole room was filled with fancy things, as well as fabric scattered everywhere. She must have been busy before she was put to sleep.

locked to a certain tsundere princess n_n
No.
Amakusa had put up with a lot in his lifetime, a lot. Ranging from idiotic superiors who wouldn't leave him alone, to protecting redheaded rich girls who would rather go look for dead people on an island. This however? It definitely took the cake.
He didn't find it cool, not one bit. Usually he could pinpoint some sort of enjoyment in anything and thrive off of it, this however was just too... embarrassing. He didn't like this outfit at all- and when he thought about it, he wondered if Ange had to be the princess. If that was the case then there might be those that would rush to kiss her first.
"Aah... what does she usually say, it's all useless?" he muttered to himself as he looked down at his outfit.
oh, I guess I'm in the wrong thread then
Ange was asleep in her own house - the only question left was whether Amakusa would think of coming to look for her there.

"I'll have to go find me one of these princesses!" Not only that, but he had to make sure that they were safe! He didn't want anyone in the world to die, that'd be a bad thing.
Moving to Usagi's house with all the sparkles and twirling that could carry him, Teddie walked in and looked around. It was very quiet, but in that unsettling way, and he really wanted to find the other quickly so he could save her.

So she was oblivious to everything that was going on. Even the fact that she was wearing a big frilly white dress and tiara was something that had been going unnoticed to her as she was just lying there on her bed, completely still yet looking oddly peaceful even in her sleep.

Tossing my imp-sized princely hat in.
Waking drowsily and with a touch of queasiness (easily gotten over, thankfully), Renne's ears give a perk. He sniffs. Something feels...Wait, what in --
Tights?
Oh, HELL no.
Making a nervously disgusted face, the blue oddity takes a few seconds to explore just what he's wearing and why the hell he's wearing it. ...Floofy sleeves, metallic trim...tights...and a coronet or some other ostentatious headpiece that his ears can't hold up. Experimentally, a hand/paw reaches out to find a slip of paper. Drat.
Can't read that but...wait, perhaps he might be able to have it read? That'll work.
Now all he prays is that he can stand up in these things. His feet already begin to cramp!
We're men! We're men in tights -- TIGHT tights! -- We roam around the forest looking for fights. We're men! We're men in ti-ights...
Must be locked to a very English princess.
Glancing down at the paper in his hand, Portugal scanned it again, looking for directions or somewhere to go. It was plain enough, besides the glossy black text, and he tucked it into his pants before turning to step out of his door.
The method of "keep walking until your feet told you where to go" had gotten him places before. (Namely Brazil.) Hopefully, it would work well enough now. Afonso pursed his lips as he stepped out of his quarters and shut the door, making his way down the path towards where England had mentioned residing. Perhaps he would know what to do--or who in the world this princess was supposed to be.
Knocking once before opening the door--one of the perks of being a close friend to someone for so long was having the confidence not to worry about being beaned in the head with a bottle of wine after a mostly unannounced entrance--Afonso called out into the cosy home, looking from side to side, "Inglaterra? Are you in here?"

Locked to Prussia
But as soon as he looked down at his chest, he found the note. Carefully he tugged it off, reading it. So this was another trick by the Rulers. He stood, adjusting his outfit and frowning. It was a rich, deep purple, "princely" outfit, with a golden Fleur-de-lis embroidered on the front. His sword's hilt was the same gold, to match, and the inside of the sleeves were a lighter gold to add an accent. Francis had to appreciate the artistry, but it was far outdated. Something had to be done with this. But no matter how hard he tried to undo everything so he could get into his normal clothes, they wouldn't come off. Finally, he just gave up with a sigh and stormed out of his room.
It was then that he noticed something that made his heart stop. Joan's door was open. And inside, there was nothing, not even the spinning wheel she'd been so fond of. She'd been taken away too, just like Spain had.
Francis' head reeled and his knees buckled, forcing him to lean against the wall to stand upright. Joan. Why did it have to be her? He promised himself he'd protect her, that he'd make sure to keep an eye on her... and he'd failed. Just as he'd failed with Spain. Suddenly, his mind was filled with the thoughts of his other friends here. America, Portugal, Prussia, England. What if they'd been taken too? What if the Rulers had done something to them, too? He rushed out the door without another moment's hesitation, toward the next house over.
When he made his way into the house, he called out loudly, to make sure he had been heard. "Amerique? Angleterre? Prussie?" But, there was no response. Just the dead silence all around him. Taking a closer look, he noticed all four doors were open - the only difference between Joan's and these, however, was that their stuff was still inside. That must have meant the three of them were all right. He made a mental note to check on Portugal as soon as he could.
The next thing he noticed was a bunch of poofy lace piled up in one of the rooms. He blinked, curious, approaching the door. His mouth dropped open when he saw Prussia laying there, quietly slumbering. Just what the hell was going on here?
no subject
Beyond the very eye-catching occupant of the room in his frilly lace, the room was as it has been. The walls were still blue, but he had modified them to include a boarder near the top with little yellow birds on it. There was an empty picture frame on the desk, he had been struggling to find a way to get a picture of old Fritz to appear, but it wasn't working. There was also a strip of cloth lying over the desk chair. It looked like he had been trying to create his flag, too, but had only been able to make a white cloth with a black boarder on the long edges.
His pink communicator was poking out from under the bedside table which was empty except for an empty mug that smelled of stale beer, and there was a pile in one corner of the room of nothing but empty beer bottles.

Locked to Kresnik
Hearing no response, he poked his head in, calling out. "Allo?" Again, no response, just that eerie silence that had been in practically all the other houses. So Francis slowly stepped inside, calling once again to make sure no one was awake in the house. After no responses still, Francis began checking to see that no one was still left inside.
Unfortunately, there was, and it was someone he knew. Kresnik Ahtreide, he recognized instantly - after all, they'd met in person at least twice, for his interesting outfit that had been commissioned. Slowly, he stepped into Kresnik's room, watching quietly for a moment. The princess dress did not suit him at all.

Despite the absurdity of the situation, Kresnik looked peaceful sleeping in his bed with his normal serious expression gone.

LOCKED TO BYAKIPS.
Either way, when he woke up, he was going to be a less then happen Shouichi.
saunters in
He stood with his arms folded, leaning against Shouichi's bedroom door frame, at a complete loss of the sight before him. Calling hadn't worked. Shaking him hadn't worked. Squirting water at him had been futile too.
And so Byakuran was at a loss - it looked kissing Shouichi would be the only way to wake him up.

locked to mercedes!
So it was decided! With a small and determined nod to herself, Sakura readjusted her cape (and all the other parts of her Prince Charming costume, which was now eerily reminiscent of the one Tomoyo-chan made) and ran straight out the door. She would find this princess and save her before she was asleep forever!
... of course, it would help to know where to look.
Locked to a certain airhead that goes tutturu~
"This is just ridiculous."
But then he'll read that note...
"... princesses have fallen asleep under an evil spell...
... wake them up with a single kiss...?! What sort of ridiculous threat is this?!"
However, despite what he says, he'll continue reading the note, and grow increasingly worried for his dear childhood friend, Mayuri...
"That's right, the mirror!"
He'll take that right out, and try to contact Mayuri... To no avail, of course.
Naturally, the first thing to do now was to look for her, and what better place to go looking than the place that he found her in the first place?
mayushii desu~
Too bad there was no way to answer back. The dear maiden was sleeping soundly on her bed with a calm expression on her face. Dreams of metal uupas She was oblivious to everything around her, even to her attire. A white frilly dress donned upon her body with a matching tiara was placed on her head. How they were placed upon her, was a mystery.
However the question was... who was going to wake her up from her slumber?

Locked to Madoka!
no subject
She'd rather not know what the Rulers would do to them otherwise. Luckily most of the people she'd checked on seemed to be covered, so she had went to another district than her own.
Everything to keep her distracted on what to do if she did find a princeless princess.
Sneaking into other people's houses wasn't her style either, but this was kind of an emergency situation.
And then she ended up in Kairi's house, seeing the sleeping girl and -worse- nobody around at all.
Madoka swallowed and sat down next to the bed. She could wait for a bit. There was surely someone who did know this girl.
She stared down at the sleeping other. That girl was about her age, it seemed...
If she'd end up punished, it would not even be her fault. She did nothing to deserve it and it just wouldn't be fair.
Madoka's hands nervously played around with the ends of her ridiculous prince-clothes as she contemplated all the horrible things that could possibly happen to this girl.
So... this was something the rulers did. It probably didn't even count as a real kiss. Then again, lips touching was a kiss either way, and it would be her first one... and possibly that girl's first one, too, oh god!
What would she even say to her when she woke up? Madoka's face was in a bright red state now. And there was still no other 'prince' in sight?
Why did she even have to be a prince? She was a girl, she wasn't a prince, she wasn't even suited for being a princess, even if she'd dream about it sometimes.
It took her another full ten minutes to get a grip on herself.
"..Look... I'm really sorry..."
She pressed her eyes shut as she leaned down. Notarealkissnotarealkissnotarealkissatall.
And then her lips met Kairi's for a short moment, before she pulled back in panic and embarrassment.
And now she'd kissed a girl -but it wasn't a kiss, it was just emergency acting- and had no clue what to even say when she woke up.

Locked to Ugetsu! (And possibly Spade?)
And kissing princesses! He was all over that; if he played his cards right, maybe he could kiss all the Princesses (or at least a good few) and they'd be so grateful to him for saving their lives that they would... reward him. Lampo grinned to himself, suddenly feeling much better about his situation as he walks on to find the first princess he would bestow with a kiss from his lordly lips.

Locked to Madoka Kaname
Damn it! Not again! He found himself wearing a ridiculous outfit, complete with puffy sleeves and tights of all things. And to add insult to injury, it was a bubblegum pink color, with light powder pink accents and hot pink embroidery. The embroidery on his chest formed the picture of a rampant wolf, but he barely registered that before noticing the note. Quickly tearing it off, his heart sank as he read it.
Venturing out into the main living area, he noticed his roommate's door was open. And she was sleeping in there, in a dress that was just as bad as the one he had been forced into for punishment.
He began pacing the room, awkward and indecisive. He couldn't just leave her like, who knows what the Rulers would do to her. But...why did it have to be a kiss!? He'd never even introduced himself to her. At first he felt there was no need, because he thought he'd be going back home soon. And after his punishment, he had been to embarrassed to say anything.
But he was the King of Hearts, leader of the Shuffle Alliance. It was his duty to save this poor girl. So finally, reluctantly, he went to her beside and kissed her. He then quickly backed away out of slapping range, his face a deep shade of scarlet.
Locked to one Hibari Kyoya.
But, then, he noticed it – the paper detailing what was going on. Reading through it, Gokudera made a face at the task he was given. What were they thinking? There was no way in hell he’d bother going out of his way to kiss random strangers on the mouths for a ridiculous game these Rulers decided to hand out on a platter. But, then again, he wouldn’t mind being the prince to a beautiful lady in waiting. With a snort, he walked out of his room deciding he’d check on his roommate first to see what predicament he was in. He was damn sure Hibari wouldn’t be participating. Actually, he suspected the man would get hives if he tried.
Chuckling with amusement, Gokudera knocked on the door to the Cloud Guardian’s quarter. It was naturally the best place to find him. He leaned against the adjoining wall to the entrance waiting for a response. Several explanations began to play out in his mind on the subsequent silence. First, Hibari was ignoring him (which was the likeliest possibility out of the rest). Secondly, he wasn’t in his room to begin with (which was more or less likely). And, finally, last but not least, he was still asleep (which means he was potentially in dire need of somebody to shake him awake).
Toying with the idea of simply moving on, he stared at the door weighing his options. He could always barge in and meet his fated doom, or he could pretend all was well and good and allow some other poor sap to do the honors. But, of course, what poor sap would be courageous (or straight out stupid) enough to risk it? “What would the Tenth do…,” he muttered, continuing to eye the entrance to his death. “Ah, fuck it,” he shouldn’t have asked that question, “I’M COMING IN, HIBARI KYOYA.” And, without another word, he kicked the door open.
Nothing.
Nothing at all.
No arrows flying out at him, no kicks to the face. Peering cautiously into the sleeping quarter, he came with the conclusion that everything was safe and sound for him – at least safe and sound to the point where he could walk in with slight confidence in the well-being of his body. “Hey,” he called out as he entered into the lion’s den, “you in here?”
Hi prince. Let's get this on. ;)
The bed was on the far side of the room, situated underneath the window; said window's coverings had been drawn to allow light into the room, illuminating exactly what (or rather, who) was lying on the bed, quiet and still.
Yup, you guessed right. Hibari Kyouya, in all his princessy glory.
To be fair, if the man was awake, he would not have stood for this intrusion of his personal space for one tenth of a second - unfortunately it was to the contrary, and so he couldn't exactly do anything about Gokudera in his room. (That included lopping off the Storm Guardian's head.)
But there he was, the sunlight illuminating the rather elaborate affair of varying shades of violet silk and lace, puffy sleeves and heels, even. It would seem as if he were, well, dead (Hibari Kyouya, dead in his sleep? Absolutely preposterous) apart from the very faint rise and fall of his chest underneath the silk of the dress. Oh, we can't forget the tiara. A simple circlet of white gold, perched somewhat haphazardly on the black hair, and accentuated with amethyst and violet gemstones.
... Looks like you've found your princess, Gokudera. ;)
