[EVENT] Boat Building Log

Who: France, Portugal, and YOU!
When: September 24th, all day
Where: North of the island, in various locations in the Rose District and the Docks
What: France and Portugal are implementing their boat plan into action. People help build a completed boat!
Warnings: Probably some mild language (either from hitting hands with hammers or minions stealing supplies).

(( ooc: All threads should be organized under the three threads below! You may lock threads as needed, or keep them open to everyone, it's up to you!

The Supply Gathering thread is for those characters who are going to be imagining up building supplies and nails and hammers and the like, in order to send them to the docks! You will be managed under Francis/France, who will be flitting from house to house to make sure people are summoning the right parts. When things start getting stolen, he'll also start summoning missing parts to try and make up for lost time.

The Building thread is for those characters who are going to be actually creating the boat on the docks! Occasionally, characters from the supply gathering camp will come and deliver things to you guys! You'll be managed under Afonso/Portugal, who will be making sure you're building according to his blueprints. Also be sure to look out for those pesky minions who will be stealing supplies and bogging down the boat-making process. Someone may have to start guarding the supplies, but you'll also have to hurry on the boat!

Lastly, the Provision Gathering thread is for after the boat is built. This is for helping summon weapons and food and storing it into the hold of the ship. These weapons can later be used in the fight against the minions later, but any guns will have a very limited ammo supply because the minions will catch everyone by surprise! Any actual fighting of the minions will be carried out in the log posted on the 4th of April.

"Yes, it's beary good! I'm not good at knowing these kinds of things." Teddie said, a little sadly, "But even if I don't know beary much, I can still help out!"

"That's the spirit, Teddie!" she cheers. "Everyone can't know everything. That's why we all work together." And when people work together, they can accomplish great things! Minako keeps her mental state high- they'll work together to build a boat, find a way home- then at home, beat the rest of the Shadows...

"Yep! So what are you going to do when you get home?" Teddie said with a grin, starting to drag things over for people to work with, so he could imagine up some more wooden stuff and maybe hammer some more into the boat.

"When I get home?" She echoes, thinking about it. Well, she could probably talk a little about it, right? In a weird place like this, maybe the Dark Hour wasn't the strangest thing around. At very least, the problem wouldn't follow her home.

"I have- something really important to do," she explains with a determined nod. "Something only me and my friends can do," she adds while moving some tools. As a somewhat less determined afterthought, "Or Minato. But, I have to be able to do it myself." Because even though they shared a home, he wouldn't come "home" with her. She smiles through the sad feeling it leaves her with.

Teddie paused for a minute. He had told the last Minako, Hamuko, that he was a shadow, but this one didn't know. Minato knew, but Teddie knew that the other wouldn't tell anyone. "Is it fighting shadows?" Teddie said, looking to her now, smiling a little bit as he set things down.

Minako is appropriately surprised with what, at first thought, is an extremely lucky guess!

"Ah- How'd you know?" No, wait, there had to be a reasonable answer. She looks a bit embarrassed and her own reaction. "Did "I" tell you before?" From the time she didn't remember? Well, they were housemates. She wouldn't be too surprised, if they'd reached that level of trust.

"You told me before! We talked about it one day." Teddie said with a smile, hammering a little more now, "And we are from the same world, actually, I think....there is something about being older involved..."

Teddie means to say 'in the future' or 'from a different time', but he's not really good with those word things.

Different timelines are confusing. Minako doesn't even realize how far ahead her own brother is, after all. "The same world, but older?" An older world would be- "The future? Teddie's from the future?" It feels weird saying 'the future,' as if Teddie were from some world with rocket skateboards and meals that were pills! ... But, the idea of a safe future existing is pretty nice...

"Yep! Atleast, I beary much think so. I'm not so sure sometimes. See I'm not from your world, I'm from the TV world, which is the world where the shadows are." Teddie admitted, hoping that maybe, just maybe, she wouldn't catch on to that.

[lovefool]

"A TV World?" she seems confused. That sounded like the furthest thing from Tartarus! Well, Mitsuru's father did just say the scientists collected shadows... not from where. "So- they come out of the TV?..." She kept her TV right at the end of her bed! If a Shadow could come out- scary!

"Well, they almost did! But mostly they were in the TV. See, someone was shoving people in the TV with the intent of killing them..." Teddie said, looking a little sad for a moment.

Minako's expression is downright horrified at that. Something akin to leaving a person stranded in Tartarus- possibly worse if Shadows were all from there.

"That's-" She can't find the right word for the sick feeling it gave her. "That's not right!" She finally settled on, tightly gripping the hammer in her hands.

"It's not, that's why we stopped him in his beartracks!" He said, smiling, "My world is better now, and I protect it with the strength of twelve bears!!"

Teddie even flexed to get his point across, though it may be missed because of that whole in-a-dress thing.

Even in a dress, one can't deny Teddie's strength! The gesture helps restore Minako's smile.

"That's good!" She sounds relieved, as if the worry had already started to build about a situation she wasn't it. "Although, I don't know how much Shadows need to be protected... They're pretty strong, all on their own." She rubs the back of her neck, idly thinking about the numerous Tartarus slip-ups that resulted in a very worried, angry Yukari.

Teddie is the strongest bear!! Aside from Sensei....

"Well, some of them aren't. I mean the little ones." Teddie said, thinking as he hammered a little more, "It's kind of a grizzly situation when humans get involved with them, you know?"
