Who: France, Portugal, and YOU!
When: September 24th, all day
Where: North of the island, in various locations in the Rose District and the Docks
What: France and Portugal are implementing their boat plan into action. People help build a completed boat!
Warnings: Probably some mild language (either from hitting hands with hammers or minions stealing supplies).

(( ooc: All threads should be organized under the three threads below! You may lock threads as needed, or keep them open to everyone, it's up to you!

The Supply Gathering thread is for those characters who are going to be imagining up building supplies and nails and hammers and the like, in order to send them to the docks! You will be managed under Francis/France, who will be flitting from house to house to make sure people are summoning the right parts. When things start getting stolen, he'll also start summoning missing parts to try and make up for lost time.

The Building thread is for those characters who are going to be actually creating the boat on the docks! Occasionally, characters from the supply gathering camp will come and deliver things to you guys! You'll be managed under Afonso/Portugal, who will be making sure you're building according to his blueprints. Also be sure to look out for those pesky minions who will be stealing supplies and bogging down the boat-making process. Someone may have to start guarding the supplies, but you'll also have to hurry on the boat!

Lastly, the Provision Gathering thread is for after the boat is built. This is for helping summon weapons and food and storing it into the hold of the ship. These weapons can later be used in the fight against the minions later, but any guns will have a very limited ammo supply because the minions will catch everyone by surprise! Any actual fighting of the minions will be carried out in the log posted on the 4th of April.

[ Though still somewhat uncertain about this whole endeavor, even if by now he has agreed to go, Minato has nonetheless been doing what he can to help out. He doesn't know too much about ship building, but he does know a bit about cooking, at least. Consequently, he's been gathering easy-to-store raw ingredients for simple-to-prepare dishes, as well as baking some biscuits and rice cakes, because such things - when stored properly - tend to keep a while.

Aware that there are creatures coming and stealing the supplies, he does his best to at least package things securely.

[Minako has been imagining things full-throttle. Imagination was just a facet of one's personality, she thought. As a Wild Card, it should be something she excels at! She's utterly determined to do her best in imagining proper things for Minato to cook or fine just plain.]

[... There's just one problem.]

[She swoops in with a box wrapped in pink cloth.] Minato! [She's a little out of breath, from running to the docks.] ... more cookies. [She offers the box with an ashamed look. Curse her hungry imagination!]

[ Minato blinks at his sister and the cookies. He lifts an eyebrow, though he smiles just shy of laughing and takes the box. ]

Thanks, Minako. ... at least no one will want for something sweet on the trip.

[Embarrassing imagination! Her cheeks are pink.]

As long as we have enough healthy food, the number of snacks doesn't matter, right? [R-right? She can want all the cupcakes she wants!] Besides, it will keep our spirits high!

[ That gets him to laugh just a little. ]

I'm sure any sort of food will be appreciated, particularly if it winds up being a long trip.

That's right! [She agrees enthusiastically. If it comes down to only having cookies, the starving will balance out the sugar! ... not that dieting will be any of their concerns...]

Say, how long do you think it will be? Probably pretty long, to get away from the Rulers...

[ Too long. Any time spent on a boat is probably too long. But he does actually give the question a bit of thought, as he moves to pack this batch of cookies away. ]

I don't know. ... hopefully only a few weeks at most. To find another land, I mean.

Hopefully... [Although, a hint of worry comes over her face.] But, if they could pull us out of an entirely different world... ... [She pinches her cheeks.] Aah, have to stay positive! If we can find another land, then we'll be able to take care of ourselves. [She'll be able to take care of Minato.]

[ Glancing back at her, he sees that cheek pinching! And when he's done with this bit of packing, he returns to her side. After a moment of hesitation, he reaches out to take her hand so she'll stop pinching herself. And then he gives it a squeeze. ] Exactly. ... and even if we don't find someplace new, we'll still figure something out.

[Minako seems a little surprised... but squeezes the hand back.] That's right. I want to protect you, Minato. So, now matter how far we have to get to be "safe." it will work out! [She promises, a bit embarrassed.]

[ He smiles at that, and if there's something a little sad about that smile, he does his best to mask it with a nod. ] And I wish to protect you, as well.

[ Big sister or not, she's still his sister, and that clearly means protection should happen all the same. ]

[ Kida spots her blue-haired friend while carrying some supplies down to the ship. Since she's Atlantis-born and raised, she's got more muscle, allowing her to heft boxes onto her shoulders and still be able to carry two beneath her arms.

Coming to Minato's side, she smiles openly.]

Minato, you are looking well tonight.

[ Minato has seen her carrying supplies around, and he is very much impressed with her strength, to say the least. But when she comes over he smiles back. ]

Thank you. It's good to see you again, Kida. I'm glad you seem to be doing well, too.

You appear to have healed well since I last spoke with you. Are you still hurting?

[ He shakes his head. ] I'm doing much better now. [ A little sore when he overexerts himself, but she doesn't need to know that. He's mostly healed, and that's the important part. ]
