[EVENT] The Visitations
Who: All Characters
When: November 29-December 19
Where: Your Home
What: The Visits
Warnings: For language and other dark elements.
This is going to go a certain way! Each time there is a visitation by a ghost, we will post a thread. Then, we will respond to that thread, if you indicate you want us to do so, or if you will have other characters in the thread. Remember, the Ghost of Christmas Past will have all your characters in the same moment of time, so if you want to be able to interact with each other, go ahead. Additionally, you will be viewing the moment in time that your denizen was killed from a third person perspective, so you can meet up with anyone during that time, but you cannot talk to your denizen. Once your denizen is dead, you are free to move around the island.
During the viewing with the Ghost of Christmas Present, you will be in the same situation, but only able to view things within your own canon. This means you can’t really speak to anyone but the NPC of the Ghost, which will be played by the mods.
For when The World shows up, we will have a separate thread for her and Kuma will be responding to you with her. You can freely talk to anyone here as well, in the game.
If there are any questions please respond to the thread provided below.

But he couldn't live with that memory forever, not when the image of her smiling and happy and alive was brought to the forefront of his memory again. He had to come forward, had to become an Alpha that wouldn't make her ashamed of him. ]
Because you come to me when you aren't sure how to go to Stiles.
[ Simple enough words, spoken evenly and calmly. ]
It wasn't real, Scott.
[ He reached out, setting his hand on Scott's shoulder but not reaching up to the side of his neck like he had with Erica while comforting her. ]
no subject
It's.. You're right, it was... like yesterday, you're right.
[He pushed his hand through his hair, leaning a little closer and looking back down at the ground.]
No- no, I'm sorry, that was stupid. God, you're okay?
[It wasn't what he wanted to ask, actually- Scott couldn't seem to say anything he actually intended to. He hadn't realised he was still shaking, nor that his breathing had quickened again.]
no subject
[ Derek watched him still, remaining exactly where he stood and keeping his hand at his shoulder. As his breathing evened out a little, he felt some amount of relief-- unlike Stiles, he didn't have Scott's prescription memorized, and he could only hope that if an asthma attack occurred he had his inhaler with him already.
His fingers twitched with the question, though, and he couldn't help but close his eyes for a moment. ]
No.
no subject
...It's not... real. Any of it. You know that.
[Shaking his head, Scott cast his gaze back to the ground.]
I know you're not going to tell me what you saw but... I'm sorry.
no subject
But it still hurt, and they both knew that. ]
My family was alive.
[ He didn't know why he admitted to it, but he did anyways. ]
no subject
...That... was Kate, though. That wasn't you.
no subject
[ Except for where she had used him to get closer to the family, learn their habits and secrets. Used him so that her scent would be all over the place, so that they wouldn't suspect a damn thing when she was in their territory.
Wouldn't suspect a damn thing until the first fire was set. ]
But it's over, and it wasn't real.
no subject
[Wait, he hadn't meant to say that.]
And okay, maybe it doesn't fit on the same time- spectrum continuum thing but we need you.
no subject
You...
[ Admittedly anything could've happened to them, even without him in the picture. They could've lived lives like he saw in the vision, they could've gotten into trouble at the first moment a rival pack came into the area, the moment hunters not following the code went after them, who knew what. ]
Despite the way we disagree, Scott, I still consider you pack. And that means, even if we fight one another, I'm not just going to sit by and let something happen to you. Any of you.
no subject
[He looked frustrated for a moment, glaring at the ground.]
You just-- it's hard to trust you, okay?!
...But it's...
It's not your fault. I don't know what your, I dunno, your motives are or anything but I... really wish I could just shut up now.
no subject
[ It was a dry comment, sardonic amusement tinging it, but there was no real bite to it as he said it. ]
Neither of us do. Because we don't listen to each other, and we don't trust each other. [ A pause, and he remembered Deaton's words. ] But we should... make an effort. At least while we're here.
And we can see what happens when we get back home.
[ A tentative olive branch. ]
no subject
[Scott sighed, rubbing the back of his neck and taking a pace back.]
...I'll try. But... just because we have to get out of here somehow.
no subject
[ Trust was a big thing, had been even before the fire and before Kate wrecked it. He had been so pack oriented he didn't trust outsiders, and now he didn't trust those who made up his pack.
But he needed to at least try here. ]
If we're at odds with one another here, we're fucked.
no subject
[Scott raises his brows, shoulders falling as he lets out a long sigh.]
...But... I'm not here to hurt anyone and I don't think you're stupid enough to try and hurt my friends so I guess... we don't have any reason not to...?
[Confident, Scott. Nice job laying down the law there.]
no subject
Your friends are part of the pack, Scott. I don't hurt pack.
[ The fights they'd gotten into didn't constitute as hurting, not when he'd pulled his punches and ordered the others not to go overboard during scuffles. Not when so much worse had happened in the Hale pack before. ]
no subject
...Never.
[The look Scott gave to Derek was loaded. It was always someone with him, and this time, it was the friend Scott couldn't live without.]
no subject
[ Derek returned the look evenly, the promise never leaving him but hanging on the edges of the conversation. It wasn't one he could guarantee, but he could hope for it. ]
no subject
[Confidence back, Scott's glare is stony and cold-- for a few seconds.]
...You won't, but... I'm just... I'm just saying, okay?
no subject
Believe me, I'm aware.
no subject
[Scott takes out his compact, looking at it, and then back to Derek.]
...I'm glad you're here anyway. Even if I'm really surprised about it.
no subject
We're in it together. Surprise or not.
[ What a foreign thing, these days, for him to say that. But it seems a little hesitant, as he says it. As if he's not sure how to word it. ]
no subject
[taking a deep, solid breath, and letting it out, Scott sucked on the words for a few moments before actually saying them.]
...As pack. With you.
[Rolling his eyes up to the sky as if it was the biggest inconvenience ever, Scott continued.]
As alpha. Powers or not.
no subject
Few things he hoped for happened, and he just learned not to put too much investment in the idea of it. ]
... Then.
[ Another slight pause, as if trying to summon up the right words for it. Sometimes he was good with them, other times it took more effort than it should have. More effort than it used to. This was about give and take, a mutual exchange between them to try and make things easier. ]
I'll work to be the alpha that you deserve. That all of you deserve.
[ It sounded right, even if it was a struggle to admit outright that he was nowhere near being a proper alpha. But he would do it. ]
no subject
[Much calmer than earlier, Scott couldn't help but let his signature puppysmile show through. It was a sign of some form of trust- that, and a definite dependency on Derek's presence.
Without the usual conflicts they had, Scott had only his own problems and Derek's attitude keeping him them from getting along- but now Scott needed him, just as the rest of them all needed eachother.]
I don't wanna have to overthrow you in fairytale jail. I don't think Erica'd join forces with me and Stiles.
no subject
He wasn't inclined to trust them. There was a chance, here, with the pack from Beacon Hills. And he wanted to try. ]
She wouldn't. And Stiles might even get a little agitated about it. We have more important things to worry about.
