Who: Avenger, Waver, Saber, Bazett
When: 26 Jan
Where: Along the castle
What: Avenger has half of his powers back, everything is awful.
Warnings: Violence, loss of autonomy
[Waver had walked away from the fight at the castle. He had only dared to go near it when his circuits cleared some - the first time in months
Once there, he had found his suit folded neatly in a chest, alongside his beloved red coat, and yellow scarf. Putting them back on felt more powerful than having his magecraft back. He was himself again, for the first time in months. Not entirely, there were little naggling things in his head, but he'd take what he could get.
He fiddles with his scarf as he leaves the building again, taking no time to explore. His patience is still too thin, overriding curiosity. He can head back to his house and see what his limits are.]

Uh. Crazier, anyway. However, he understands that normal people with functioning moral compasses and rational reasoning patterns think otherwise. ]
... No?
no subject
[She mustn't let rage get the best of her, so she stills her tongue. There is more to worry about here than a matter of humour.
She only hopes Bazett hurries.]
no subject
Huh?
[ It was a remark that she was stiff! Like always! As expected! He can find it funny, she doesn't. Nothing else. ]
no subject
Where is she?
no subject
AVENGER! WHAT DID YOU DO?
no subject
Quickly covers up this urge with douchery; ]
GAH! Stop yelling, lady!
[ Pay no attention to the Waver Alter over there, too angry to string together a coherent thought. ]
no subject
...Sir? What did he do to you?
[And then she turns back to Avenger.]
DID I NOT ORDER YOU TO RESPECT LORD EL-MELLOI?
no subject
If he pretends Bazett didn't yell that at him, he can ignore it for a bit longer. She glances from him to Waver and back to him. ]
I. Um, [ Don't like him, you have lick his boots and that takes away the fun from nagging you, he's a human, felt cocky and threatened because of paranoia enough to want him dead for a day, wanted to traumatize/freak him out enough to not try killing me
Avenger coughs angrily. ] might have made a oversight with him.
[ Defensively; ]
Him being like this is an accident!
no subject
[She repeats. Her voice is dripping with skepticism.]
And what, pray tell, did you accidentally do to him as to cause an emergency?
[At least he's still standing.]
no subject
Eh, I got a lot of my powers back today and I was testing the extents of 'em...
[ Wait, that's not what she's asking for.
...
Ugh!
Why do acts of paranoia-driven murder and hate have consequences. And now he's moved from glaring at Waver to glaring a bit at Bazett. A grumble; ]
... He was snooping so I pushed him into the contents of the Grail.
[ You know, Bazett. The contents of the Holy Grail. The horrid, vile setting-fire to-huge-portions-of-cities poisonous ooze that looks like liquid darkness. That's currently still seeping out of the storehouse and pooling around it. That mud Waver is currently standing in without any visible sighs of discomfort. ]
no subject
[She is so angry and confused and scared that she has circled back to being completely calm.]
...What?
[So for the time being, all Avenger is getting is flat "what"s.]
no subject
This wasn't the result I wanted.
...
[ Her flat reactions lead him to making a prediction there is a lot of yelling and pain in his immediate future. He snaps down at the currently silent Waver, and his tone shifts from sullen to rather mocking. ]
Hey, magus. Your underling is worried about you, say something annoying like you usually do, why don't you? [ Stop being an asshole just because you feel annoyed and upset, Avenger. ]
no subject
[That felt good to get out, even if Waver's throat feels as if it is trying to speak while swallowing hot coals. There is nothing but ash and bitterness in his voice, and the pitch is lower than it should be - almost a rumble, like Rider's was.]
no subject
M-my Lord...? You sound different...
[But still, he seems be alright. So for the most part, this leaves...]
AVENGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
[The next second, there's a fist headed at his head.]
no subject
—how the hell did you—?!
[ Even get onto the roof that fast, but then her fist impacts and holy shit, he forgot about how much getting walloped by Bazett, even at half power, hurts. Stupid fighting machine, she is.
There's a hole in the roof now, it appears she successfully punched him through that back into the storehouse. ]
no subject
He seems to be staggering a little. ]
Holy cow, lady, ease it up, I think you cracked my fuckin' skull. And a few ribs. Possible, my collarbone, too.
...
Oww...
no subject
YOU IGNORED MY ORDERS! YOU ATTACKED MY SUPERIOR! YOU DIPPED SOMEONE IN YOUR GRAIL MUD!
[Now that she thinks of it, it is quite the miracle that Waver is still alive and breathing.]
no subject
no subject
Nothing about this seems good. Nothing at all.]
--What is he talking about?! What fire?!
no subject
[She looks toward Waver.]
My Lord, I am glad you are unhurt. Forgive me. I was unable to keep a good enough eye on Avenger. I will punish him as he deserves.
no subject
While Bazett apologizes to Waver, all his thoughts on the magus are: shut up god.
He blinks and looks over at Saber.
Then he laughs dryly, like he's making fun of her as he adds onto Bazett's words; ]
Hmm?
The fire, right after the Fourth Grail War. Pretty awful, burned for an entire day. That fire.
no subject
[What are they saying?!]
And what-- what will be done about Waver!?
no subject
[Even thought there might be something strange she cannot put her finger on.]
I suppose we should just let him rest?
no subject
[ And then he linefaces in Bazett's direction. While he didn't exactly care about the magus; ]
Boss, I refuse to believe you're this dense. If you actually are, I'm resigning on the spot.
