[EVENT] Battle Log Two
Who: Everyone
When: October 2, Early Afternoon
Where: The Castle/Forest
What: Escape from the Castle
Warnings: Possible death, violence and cursing, so PG-13. Remember, if you die, you will be automatically sent home and to sleep until the May 2 day change.
Upon realizing that everyone was saving themselves, The World finally broke free and woke everyone up immediately. Her voice echos across the castle, the dungeon opening up to the forest, which she hoped they would take quickly.
“Hurry, please get back to your homes, I can only hold some of the minions but so much.” She says, sounding strained. The Empress screams out after her, her voice booming.
“Yes, please get back to your homes, if I don’t kill you first!”
With that, you have the choice to fight again, but either way, you’re going to be expelled to the forest and chased by minions and monsters until you get safely to your home.

He moved- purely on instinct, and he soon tackled the younger girl, the two of them moving out of the way- and eventually they had rolled out of sight, out of harm's way... for the time being. Amakusa Slowly moved- he was on top of Ange and he glanced around, noticing that they were covered by some lush bushes and the like.
Ange might feel something warm on her, he had been pierced by that arrow- it went right through him and the head of it was just barely out of his chest. It all happened so quick, Amakusa didn't even notice. He looked down at her and tried to speak up-... ah.... there was some liquid coming up from his throat and running down his chin. Blood... shit, he knew he was a goner already.]
You okay Ange-san? [he still tried to smirk, but even that was hard.]

... What.. was that warm liquid she suddenly felt dripping down on her? Once her vision fully returned to her, her urge to shout at him immediately died away. Instead Ange's expression actually stopped being lineface for once to turn downright shocked when she noticed that arrow head sticking out of his chest. Back there.. he had been hit by that? He had pushed her.. to push her out of the way? No way, even if he was her bodyguard, her boyfriend, she didn't expect something like this..! Protecting her was one thing, but a wound this serious..
She couldn't even muster up an answer to his question, instead she moved up her hand with the same shocked expression to his face, feeling the blood on his chin as if to see if it's real or not. If this was really happening. And.. it was, the red liquid covered her hand as well when she touched it.. --no, no way.. ]
Am.. Amakusa..? [ Her voice was surprisingly soft and fragile compared to usually when it finally came out of her throat. ]

Amakusa coughs, the blood splattering out of his mouth and going all over her, more of that warm liquid seeping from him. He tried to swallow, but the taste of metal was almost too much. Even so, he tried his best to speak.]
L...looks like this is the ....en...end for me Ange-san. You're going to have to... keep going... [he inhaled, rather shakily.] ...you should get to freedom...b-before those guys find you.

Ange felt her eyes growing a little watery. Was she really going to cry in front of him for the second time in such a little while.. no way she could normally allow herself to do that, right? Then why could she slowly start to feel the tears coming out already..? ]
N-.. no way.. What about you then, Amakusa..? [ She felt so pathetic like this, so weak and vulnerable, but the idea of losing him right when they almost got out fine was just.. too much for her. ] You'll come with me, right..?
no subject
Sorry... you'll have to go on your own... [with the strength he had left he pushed himself off of the ground, leaning back so he was in a sitting position. He looked down at his chest and... yeah- this was no good. It was hard to breathe, obviously something was punctured here. He inhaled yet again- but it was as though he couldn't get any breath...]
C...come on... don't cry for me... I'm not < cool > enough for that... heha...! A-..ahh...gh... [well, laughing hurt. That wasn't a good idea. He coughed yet again, and he saw more blood come out of him.]
no subject
You're such an idiot.. [ Even though it was more like her usual deadpan insults, it didn't sound anything like it. Ange raised herself from the floor too, a little, just enough to be able to still look at him. ] W-.. why are you laughing at a moment like this..?!
[ She wanted to say more, she at least wanted him to still hear it, but.. it was so difficult to force it out, she absolutely hated seeming this fragile, especially since usually he just would have made fun of her for it. But even so.. ]
... How do you even think I'm supposed to go on without you..?
[ A few months ago she would have laughed at herself for thinking that way about this guy of all people. Things really do change. ]

Listen lady... stop worrying about me a...and go... You ...don't need me- you won't... m-miss me. Just go.
[He just wanted her to get out of here. It was already too late for him, she still had a chance though. She could get free, and maybe she could move on and find someone else. He knew how horrible he was, and yet he kept doing the same old shit over and over again. Looks like he really is a fickle man that tends to run away... this could be seen as yet another escape- but one that he actually didn't want. How cruel...]

Ange crawled over to him - she didn't hear any footsteps yet, so it should be alright, and she still didn't want to leave either way. She tried to grab his hand the best she could while they were like this, not even caring about whether the blood would spill on her even more. She just had to hold him for a moment more, feel that the warmth of his body was still there. Ange raised the hand to her own cheek, at least trying to blink back her watery eyes for now so she would at least sound a little more coherent, because this was something he had to hear. No matter how much he might laugh at her for it, it's just-- ]
I.. need you. You were right, Amakusa.. I already told you that you're right back in that castle, right? I can't protect myself, not-- not like you can.. I mean, just look at how pathetic I am right now..! [ For a moment she has to stop to inhale a sharp and almost shakey breath. ]
And.. I'd definitely miss you. More than anything, so.. Amakusa, you can't leave..!
no subject
Amakusa moved his hand against her cheek, and soon he placed his hand against the back of her head, pulling her closer to him so she was against his chest, careful of that arrow that was still sticking out of him.]
Y...you can protect yourself lady... you're strong. Hah... [he was saying such sappy things, he felt so lame right now, but it was true.] You're not pathetic... [with his free hand he reached into his jacket pocket, and pulled out a pistol. Yeah, he had imagined this up a while ago. He handed it to her though.]
Take it ... I..I won't need it where I'm going... heha.... a...aggh...! [he coughed yet again, and soon enough he had closed his eyes, leaning his head back against the tree... he was barely conscious now.]
no subject
But it wasn't difficult to notice that he was almost fully gone now, huh..? Even though she wanted to remain in his embrace more than ever right now, Ange pulled away a little just to be able to peek out of the bushes for a moment. The coast seemed pretty clear right now, so.. she pulled her head back into the bushes, to move back to him and plant a final kiss on his lips. Ange wasn't even sure if he could still even feel it now. ]
.. I'll run since you told me to. [ It was the only thing her mind could hold onto right now, in the middle of not just straight deciding to give in to despair and for example shoot herself on the spot. ] I'll go and run now, so.. p-.. please watch me, okay, Amakusa..?
[ She knew he wouldn't be able to answer. She knew that he probably wouldn't even be able to hear most of it, but she was just talking to herself as she watched him - Ange wanted to make sure that there fully was no saving him left, that he was fully dead before she could even bring herself to move. ]
no subject
It was too much to even open his eyes- and yet he still felt the sensation of her warm lips against his own. Too bad really, he would have loved to be able to even kiss her back, but even that was difficult now.
He let out one last breath, and then the life had left him- he was gone.]
no subject
And so she did. Without even thinking more about all of this, she instead just let her feet work rather than her brain. All she had to do was keep running no matter what, get out of the forest and safely back to the house. Even if it would be without Amakusa from now on, even if once they got to go home she would be all alone entirely again.. she just had to not think about that, but run.
The girl ran through the forest, avoiding the things chasing her out of little more than sheer instinct rather than thought, and then ran through the village until she found the house she had been staying in, the house she hadn't seen for a few days. Without thinking she walked through it until she got to her room, dropping the pistol on the ground with a hollow sound. Soundlessly she let herself drop on the bed, her bed - the bed she had shared with him before again and again already.
It wasn't until then that her mind started functioning again.. and she cried for the man she lost. ]
