This is going to go a certain way! Each time there is a visitation by a ghost, we will post a thread. Then, we will respond to that thread, if you indicate you want us to do so, or if you will have other characters in the thread. Remember, the Ghost of Christmas Past will have all your characters in the same moment of time, so if you want to be able to interact with each other, go ahead. Additionally, you will be viewing the moment in time that your denizen was killed from a third person perspective, so you can meet up with anyone during that time, but you cannot talk to your denizen. Once your denizen is dead, you are free to move around the island.

During the viewing with the Ghost of Christmas Present, you will be in the same situation, but only able to view things within your own canon. This means you can’t really speak to anyone but the NPC of the Ghost, which will be played by the mods.

For when The World shows up, we will have a separate thread for her and Kuma will be responding to you with her. You can freely talk to anyone here as well, in the game.

[Amakusa comes up behind her, looking like he wasn't phased at all by his own denizen being killed. Like he's really one to care about death, he sees it all the time, he's always been so detached from everyone, easier to run away that way.

Still, he knows that she has such issues with her family, especially with her brother- so when he spots what's happening he doesn't say anything at first. His arms are crossed over his chest, actually thinking before he speaks is so unlike him- but he might as well try for her....]

We didn't even get to the good part with the witch being cooked. [he smirks about that, but it's obvious his words aren't as carefree and enthusiastic as usual. He does know what she's going through, but he's being more light about the situation as usual.]

[entreats]

[ She probably did notice him approaching. Not that she said anything either way, but maybe she didn't say anything exactly because it was her. Despite growing closer to this guy here, there's still some natural instinct to keep up her shell. And right now, it's already taking her everything to try and seem more or less like normal.

So it actually takes a few moments for her to fully summon the power to talk to him properly, without seeming too much like she's off - even if the tiny hints are still there, and she should know by now that he can pick those up. ]

Maybe they're saving that part for me.

[He can tell she's off, he already knows just how she's feeling. Normally he would have made fun of her in a situation like this, but he knows how painful it is for her. Still, this girl needs to learn not to connect everything to her past, simply move on.]

....Other authors- don't they write different versions of stories and everything? Maybe you're living one of the alternate story lines. You know, the one where the wolf from Little Red Riding Hood doesn't let anything happen to Gretel, hyahaha!

[of course he's talking about the two of them, but he covered that up pretty good.]

[ He really just is making it obvious here, huh. Someone as logical as Ange doesn't even need to put effort into figuring out what he's saying there, it's way too clear even if he's trying to cover it up a little like that. ]

That didn't go over as well last time, did it? [ It's only a remark to counter his own - after all, last time they fought the minions, he did protect her, of course-- she remembers that very well.. but she also knows he's not a match for these things in the end. None of them can fight them. But she does mean it a little more seriously too, after all, seeing all of this makes her think about what the Rulers will do with them too. ]

[hyahahacool]

Ah.... the wolf was just careless, that's all.

[He turns to look at her, trying to read her expression. Ah well, she can get mad at him if he wants, not like he cares. His gaze moves so it's looking out at something again, but he moves his hand so it's going to hers, holding her own in his hand, giving her a reassuring squeeze at this entire thing.]

Little do the Rulers know how stubborn Gretel is though.

[entreats]

[ Don't worry, she's not actually mad either way. And it's not like she could stay mad to begin with, not with him grabbing her hand like that and even squeezing it.. it's not really like him to be more affectionate in a subtle and gentle way, so honestly, in a way she can't help but appreciate it. She still looks a little weaker than usually, but even so-- ]

... And little do they know that the big bad wolf isn't as bad as his name implies, huh? [ He's helped her all this time, after all. Even if he seems just flippant and selfish on the outside.. she knows there's at least some good part to him. The part that protected her even with his life. ]

[It really isn't like him, huh? That's for sure, he definitely would never do such a thing with anyone else, hell- he would have left anyone else by this point. He already got what he wanted out of her, they had gone the extra mile and done something he had been wanting for so long.

...So then, why wasn't he leaving her? And better yet, why didn't he want to leave either?

This girl was so ridiculous, she literally had no idea the hold she had over him, it was maddening. Still, Amakusa wore the same expression and stared ahead.]

Hey now, that might hurt the feelings of that wolf, he's plenty bad.

[entreats]

[ When she turns his face to look at him, there's actually sort of a smile on there - but instead of being a sweet smile, it's more the kind of 'oh you' smile - it's so typical of Amakusa of all people to say something like that. And honestly, some tiny part of her might have feared he would have tried to leave her completely after that night even then, but.. he's still right here, even holding her hand and being a little more sappy for her. And honestly, she can't help but only feel.. well, really glad for that fact.

She moves to stand on her tiptoes, leaning closer to him. ]

Sure, sure. You're plenty bad. [ And then she presses her lips to his'. See how it works now, Amakusa? You give her some niceness, you get a reward, it's not rocket science. ]

[....Oho?

Ohohoho? His lady is making the first move here? Out in the open even and kissing him?! This truly is a treat, a real delight! He smirks against her lips, kissing her back all the same though. His hands are on her waist now, and for once he's the first to pull away.]

...Lady... what's this all about? [oh yes he's curious as to why she's acting this way, not like he's complaining though.]

[entreats]

[ Of course he had to ask about it and ruin it. It's not like she can openly talk about her dere with him, he'll just make fun of her, so.. instead he's just getting the usual scowl at this point, even if she's not trying at all to move away from him. ]

Don't tell me you're going to complain now.

Does it really sound like I'm complaining? I think you even smiled at me, I was just wondering what I did to deserve such treatment.

[Teasing, all the teasing always. Still, he's not moving at all either, he enjoys the fact that she's so close to him like this.]

[entreats]

Shutting up for once would be a good start to deserve more. [ Not that she entirely means it. Well.. the things he says are annoying most of the time, but.. it's almost like she's gotten used to it by now, like it's something normal. It'd just be weird to not have him blabbing on all the time now. ]

It's just that.. [ .. ugh, she should explain to him, right? So he might understand a little. But at the same time, she doesn't want him to make fun of her, so it's definitely difficult. ] .. I was glad. That's all.

[hyahahacool]

[Wow, so snappy! Still, he's smiling a little at her words. She's glad huh? He didn't even do anything that great, just said some words here and there. Still, it was pretty good that she was willing to kiss him in public like this. Amakusa takes a hand off of her, reaching up to grab his hat.]

Maybe I'm glad when you kiss me, ever think of that?

[And then he smirks, leaning down to kiss her again, but he's holding the hat up so at least one side of them has a little more privacy.]

[ It's mostly the situation, really. If they were just on the island normally it'd be one thing, but this is almost more like some sort of dream, or a hallucination, or.. well, she's not entirely sure what it is either, just that it's definitely not normal. Under normal circumstances she would still withhold a little more, but apparently she's at least grown enough to not mind it as long as it's like this.

It shows in the way she kisses him back immediately once their lips meet, almost strangely interested by the way he holds up that hat. Really, he's the one giving them a little more privacy now? For her sake? At this rate he might actually become a half decent person, huh..

She pulls away just far enough to be able to speak. ]

Like you don't make that obvious all the time.

[hyahahacool]

[Hey, he can be nice sometimes, keep that up and he might just start crying on the spot.

He smirks when she moves away from the kiss, obviously enjoying their little interactions here, it's how this always goes.]

If I wasn't obvious you wouldn't get it. [since she's so oblivious all the time.]

[entreats]

[ He's actually very right with that, yup. It's only thanks to the many, many, many times he's pushed that she actually started to give him a little in return, that she started to fall for him slowly and bit by bit. If he hadn't done all of that, it probably never would have happened to begin with.. ]

Like you're not the kind of guy who just tries to get whatever he wants. [ Certain girls, in this case.. ]

[hyahahacool]

[He chuckles a bit at that, bringing the hat to his head once more, placing it right where it had been previously. He moves to let go of her though, even taking a step back.]

How cruel, I'm a pretty modest man you know. [nope, no he isn't.]

[entreats]

[ Nope, not at all. But that's just what makes him himself, no matter how horrible he can be at times.. and she can't say she truly dislikes it, either way. ]

Have you found even one person in this place who believes an obvious lie like that?

[hyahahacool]

Maybe... that Madoka-san sure believes whatever I tell her.

[He chuckles about that, but he doesn't tell her anything bad, he says things to cheer her up, actually. But he's not telling Ange that.]

[entreats]

.. Don't go around corrupting good people.

[ She frowns a little more at that, but it's mostly since she knows Madoka, and.. well, Madoka is younger than her and much more nice and kind - honestly, not like Ange thinks of herself like a good person, hence why she words it like that. But that's exactly what makes her more suited to deal with him, huh? ]

[hyahahacool]

Corrupting? Who, me? No way lady! Hyahaha!

[HE'S A GOOD MAN.... sometimes... maybe.... in the right light perhaps...]

[entreats]

[ Some.. times... it's just complicated, okay. How does Ange even put up with him. ]

More importantly, are you even ready already for what they might pull next? [ Yup, Ange's in her all business mode again now.. ] I doubt they'll leave it at just this.

[hyahahacool]

[Back to business huh....?]

If you want the truth Ange-san, I have a feeling they have something up their sleeves here. They wouldn't do this unless they were going to follow through with something, either this is a scare tactic or viewing something that will happen in the future.

When it's going to come about though, that's what I'm having trouble figuring out. [he can get serious too.]

[entreats]

[ Oh, she does trust him and actually listen to him when it comes to these matters, really - he's proven himself useful in situations with these Rulers before, after all, so she trusts him on that topic. It's why she's considering what he's saying instead of just dismissing it. ]

It depends on how this was caused. After all, they didn't tell us if this was some sort of punishment for them doing something wrong or whether it was done without reason, just like something inevitable or even for the Rulers' entertainment. [ ... ] As long as we don't know that, we don't know when this kind of thing could happen to us either.

[hyahahacool]

[he listens to her words, crossing his arms and nodding a bit.]

....This raises a bunch of questions, ones that we don't have answers to right now. Kind of frustrating, isn't it?
